  1. Yeah, the article contradicts itself - states we sacked him for it then a couple of paragraphs later says we'd already sacked him and "were later informed...". Basically 2 completely unrelated facts, although it may have dissuaded him from appealing.
  2. Not much chance to consider this but let's go for: Kenny Sansom © Queen Gazza Bruce Forsyth Clive James Frankie Muniz Jimmy Greaves Ian Brady Shannen Doherty Prunella Scales Cliff - 3rd June EDIT: Forgot a captain and Cliff
  3. That's awful news mate - can't imagine how hard that's hit you, especially after your new start. Wish you all the best pal, keep fighting
  4. Not picked up a winner yet - shocking week so far. Horses to avoid tomorrow are 13.30 - Vautour 14.05 - Sybarite 14.40 - Ma Filleule 15.20 - Zarkandar 16.00 - Un Ace 16.40 - Champagne James
  5. Haha, that's a brilliant article. "rash, emotionally-charged" is a lovely way of saying he lost his head and dived in
  6. No idea of the sources for the Independent piece but that's some assault on Johnson's personality - digs at his strength of character and communication skills seem very harsh and personal
  7. Right, initial list for this year - may be subject to change Sam Simon (cheers pukka!!) - Captain Mohammed Ali Fidel Castro Pele Ian Brady Clive James BB King Bruce Forsyth Jimmy Hill George Bush Snr Spartacus - 30th June
  8. If the incident had stopped after the first retaliation then there's no issue - two alpha meatheads trying to intimidate each other and Hohaia must have known he couldn't throw an elbow without getting a slap in return. To then pin an unconscious bloke down and try to smash his eye socket in is a dick move and deserves jail time.
  9. I always thought people exaggerated how backwards SYP were until a few years ago when one tried to physically drag me onto a train to Manchester at Doncaster station, despite me being alone, sober and with no colours on...oh and explaining several times that I live in :censored:ing Edinburgh....
  10. Pie & A Bovril Paul Rachubka Nathan Clarke - Timothee Dieng - Jean Yves-M'Voto - Matteo Lanzoni Dean Furman - Neil Kilkenny - Richard Wellens - Korey Smith Jonson Clarke-Harris © - Jose Baxter Subs: Richard O'Donnell - Alan Sheehan - Anthony Grant - Chris Porter
  11. He's c.30 years old. I was in 6th form with him at Hulme. Not spoken to him since school but he was sound, very intelligent (head boy at Hulme from memory) and a massive Latics fan. I've heard sporadic updates on him over the years and seems to have done extremely well for himself. Just the kind of person we should be getting on board to move the club forward in my opinion. EDIT: To echo longtimeblue, considering we were at school together that CV makes me feel like the world's biggest waste of space!!
  12. I thought I'd use a meaningless, end of season game to try out a new tactic. Turns out it won me points for the half time score but it might need some refining for the title tilt next season
  13. Gutted for him, even more so after seeing Lee Clark celebrate like he'd just made it 2000 games unbeaten
  14. Latics 10 - 0 Notts County (0-0) Rachubka 10,000
