  1. Towards the end of his stay with us he began to look a bit off the pace. I guess that was more of an issue in League One with quicker players. That Fulham performance was immense though.
  2. Missilou went to Swindon on deadline day in January "The club’s manager Keith Curle told the club’s official site that he felt the move was in the best interest of all parties. He also added he felt that the window had been a good one overall for Northampton. He said, “Christopher has found his opportunities here limited in recent weeks and I think that would have continued."
  3. Curle brought him to Northampton... Then didn't play him much, and shipped him off to Swindon after just six months. Pretty obvious Curle was never going to bring him here, however much we need a similar style of player.
  4. Thought his part in the antics was going to be much worse than that! Bit over the top from O'Neill.
  5. Ben Garrity has played 30 games for us this season. Lack of control or passing ability hasn't stopped that. Fane or Sylla would easily get in over him.
  6. His big issue is that he didn't wave his arms enough and celebrate enthusiastically enough to keep certain fans happy. Nothing wrong with his contribution or attitude. He was dropping back trying to make things happen when other players had let their heads drop.
  7. Definitely a chance he could end up at Barrow to complete the Latics nostalgia tribute act up there.
  8. Shez has finally left Swindon: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/56792247 Interesting to see where his next job will be, he's had quite a few failures in a row now
  9. You don't need much to succeed in this division. Morecambe are happy to let us have the ball, but they've identified our weaknesses and played intelligently.
  10. Morecambe are running at Clarke and drawing him out, putting two runners into the box and Piergianni is overloaded. We need more cover from the left or midfield.
  11. Nice contrast there. Lovely team move that was just lacking a final runner just before. Then route one long ball leading to the goal. Don't mind us mixing it up a bit
  12. Maybe Roy was the technological genius keeping iFollow working all along...
  13. Danny Whitaker signs for Macclesfield FC as player manager.
  14. His hairdresser did Just think, if he'd gone bald early we might still be in League One now
  15. The only reason they didn't go the way of Bury and Macclesfield is their connections to the FA Most other clubs who try their recipe for success will end up defunct You have to invest some money to get success, and we have historically spent too little, but there are limits. Bolton spend other people's money way beyond their size or stature. Do you really think Bury fans think that last promotion out of League Two was worth extinction? That's not ambition, it's suicidal
  16. .... which is exactly what they were telling themselves for the last twenty years whilst running up £173m of debt. They are doing exactly the same again now that debt was written off (partially footed by the taxpayer). They are not as big as their spending, and haven't been for years.
  17. With the amount of money they've thrown at their squad twice this season, anything less than promotion is failure. Even David Dunn would take them up.
  18. Anyone remember this lad? Allegedly we got a wedge for him, though I'm doubtful it was as much as it says here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paweł_Żuk_(footballer,_born_2001) There's been a few other youth products who went on to Premier League clubs for fees but then didn't make it.
  19. It doesn't help that a lot of the non-league clubs we'd usually loan them to aren't playing at the moment, either
  20. Saw him as a junior and thought he was going to be a world beater. No idea what they did to him at Bayern and Swansea.
  21. He moved to get first team football. He then got a serious injury. https://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport/football/fleetwood-keeper-joel-coleman-expects-be-out-three-five-months-2966803
  22. Sutton United now 4 points behind top spot with three games in hand, Dean Bouzanis in net for them
