  1. Hi Gaz Which model is it? Ian G.
  2. Acronis True Image is probaly the best, unfortunately it's not free but a great programme to use . It's about £39.00 but you can download a trial version, don't know if it does a complete image though. This is what we use in the shop all the time for copying hard drives . Regards Ian G.
  3. Also in the Directors was Terry McDermott, Jim Gannon and Chris Hutchings Now some interesting stuff, Tony Philliskirk was looking after a lad (mid to late 20's) dark skinned, possibly South American or Spanish. Dark short wavy hair. No idea who he was, but could it have been Fabian Yantorno Just a name from the past, no idea what he's doing now. Ian G.
  4. It's seems as though young Simon has done a runner from the seaside back to his native Yorkshire It's on the Beeb's website. Blackpool say they are suing both Grayson and Leeds
  5. I believe Dowies available And as always (with him) looking for a big, big club I bet Ken Bates can't wait to interview him
  6. Depends on the operating system. VISTA is about an hour = £35.00 incl. VAT labour (set price) XP Home/PRO is about 1½ hours = £45.00 incl. VAT (set price) £70.00 from Acer is about right they normally charge £65.00 per hour + VAT. Hope this helps. Regards Ian G.
  7. Possible trip to Bob's homeland in July 2009 . Good luck .
  8. T & C Motor Panels Unit 3c Castle Pk Ind Est, Bower St, Oldham, OL1 3LN 0161 620 2653 Very good company, the owners are nice people (unusual for the car trade) . Ian G.
  9. Just got back from the game. Steve Williams:- He's a trialist (centre half), about 6' 4" I would say, early 20's just finished colleage and wants to start playing pro football again (no idea who he played for before)? This came direct form Dux. Very good on the ball and in the air, could be worth a punt. Probably the best player on the park for Latics until his injury, which seemed very bad (stretchered off in a leg brace) didn't look good for the lad, shame really. Stam was absolutely gash and gave away two clear goals, Liddle was supposed to be playing but was missing totally, Thomson seemed OK. Other than that we we're crap. When JP came on all he did was pass the ball backwards or to a Barrow player. Kieron Lee had 45 minutes in the 2nd half and tried his heart out, will need to see more of him to be convinced. Whittaker played Left Wing (?) he huffed and puffed but was probably played in the wrong position for me. Stevens and Maher played CM, I'm not totally convinced on Maher yet (maybe he's not match fit), Stevens did OK. Other than that 200 mile round trip. Ian G. PS No Demar Philips tonight, does this mean a decision has been made about him?
  10. "UPDATE" Just got back from the MRI. Matt's sitting up in bed and looks like he's just got back from his holidays and not a 5 hour operation. His latest quip is "he can now take the p--s out of Nathan as much as he wants" (children). Nathan looks tired but the new kidney appears to be working successfully. There both in ward 10, Matt's in a private ward at the top and Nathan's in bed 17, it looks like they'll both be in for about 7 to 10 days. If anyone fancy's a visit, daytime 2-00pm unitl 4-45pm and evening 6-00pm until 8-00pm. Once again a big, big thank you for all your reply's and telephone calls. Both of them are trying to make the 1st home game of the season, what an incentive to get up and go (to the loo that is). Ian G.
  11. Been to see both the lads tonight. Matt's operation commences at 8-00am tomorrow and Nathan follows along at about 11-00am. I'll try update you all tomorrow night (if I can). A big thank you to you all, I've told the boys about all your replys and their both chuffed, especially Matt. Ian G.
  12. Hi Chaddy Matt's 34 and Nathan's 30, both got season tickets this year for the RRE. Ian G.
  13. Some of you on the OWTB forum are aware Nathan (Nobby my youngest son) has been quite poorly for the last year, he suffered total kidney failure last July. A couple of months back Matthew (Limpetlad my eldest son) made the decision (after numerous clinical tests) he was going to donate one of his kidney's to his younger brother. They've both been admitted today to the MRI and the operation is tomorrow morning. On behalf of our family (all ardent Latics fanatics) I want to say a big thank you to Matthew for helping his little brother out. Ian G.
  14. Hi Johnny You've done really well keeping a PC running for over 6 years. To try and repair could could be expensive and would be possible throwing money away (old components and old technology). If your looking for a replacement base unit have a look at http://www.pcassist.co.uk/html/AMD%20x2%20...Base%20Unit.htm it's a "Special Offer" we have on at the moment. Might seem expensive in the short term but you will see the benfits long term. Just a thought. Ian G. PC Assist
  15. Hi goals from Toronto FC http://toronto.fc.mlsnet.com/players/bio.j...tatType=current Ian G.
  16. I am told by a source (not HP) that we have Carl Robinson on trial from today. Have a look at http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/mid/halloffame/..._robinson.shtml for information on the lad.
  17. Anybody go to the reserves tonight? If you did, anything to report on the trialists we had on show?
  18. Today (whilst playing golf) I was told that Paul Scholes said last night that Micah Richards was to sign for United next Tuesday. I have tried to confirm this, with a few contacts with no joy so far. In addition he also said Darren Fletcher was on edge of being sacked by United for playing in a friendly game for Scotland without Taggerts approval? The only main thing was I tried to get odds today at William Hills with this possible move, to be told no bets we're being taken on United buying any players or Micah Richards leaving City, which I found peculiar. My Paul Scholes contact is adament it's going to happen???????????????????????????????????? Watch this space.
  19. Go into "TOOLS" in your system files and then "FOLDER OPTIONS" and then "VIEW" change your settings to "Show all hidden files". You should then be able to see these files. You cannot really speed-up a Virus Scan. Regards Ian G. PC Assist
