On a differant note,i listen to sweeneys show eveyday,purely to get traffic info. The guy is an absolute balloon. I have heard him state on several occaisions that he livea in Saddleworth not Oldham. He seems to think that using words like perjorative and dichotomy in his radio show makes him clever whereas it just makea him look like a prick.

Sorry to waken you Dopey. Just wanted to know if i had missed an official announcement or something.

I went in the club shop today to return an item that someone bought for me on saturday. I didn't want the money back but the stock in there at the moment is very limited to say the least. I asked for a gift token so that i could get something when the shop is restocked but was told that this wasn't possible because the shop is closing and everything is discounted. I was told that no refunds were allowed but after a little bit of argueing i was given a cash refund. I did not really want a refund and said that i would come back and spend the money when presumably a new shop was opened in the new stand. I was then told that the money would not be going to Oldham Athletic AFC anymore. Have i missed something here?

Sorry but I am new to all this. It appears that someone called Ackey does not agree with what I am saying so the subject has been locked(very adult) I was just trying to make a point that unfortunately the people of this town do not give a :censored: about their local club as they are far more interested in clubs with more money/resources. Hope we never get another world war as the Germans etc will probably have better tanks/planes etc than us.
