  7. Yesterday morning I went down to Boundary Park to help the groundstaff to get the match on today. when I arrived all the snow had been removed from the pitch and we spent all morning clearing snow and ice from the outer running track. The pitch itself carried a lot of surface water which was not draining away due to frost which had penatrated the ground. When the referee arrived at lunch time he inspected the pitch with Alan Hardy, the groundsman carrying a pitch fork and other club officials. From what I could see when they tried to push the fork into the turf, in certain areas it wasn't possible, the groundsman then obtained a thermometer to record the pitch temperature and he later stated this to be 1 1/2` I took this to be minus. The party left the pitch and it was reported that the referee was to consult the Football League with his findings. Yesterday the pitch was definately unplayable, with a crystal ball today yes but in my eyes the blame lies purely with the Football League.

  11. The wee lad was a f****n genius couldn't run for anything but didn't need to.Just found space recieved the ball then splayed it either foot on a sixpence. the nearest thing i've seen to him was probably Johnny Giles of Leeds. I must admit though Fabrigas is top notch tho' when he's on song he's superb and probably going to be the greatest midfielder ever.

  19. Don't know what the price of a the sponsers lounge is but what if their are insufficient bookings for a game ( or maybe next season selected (CRAP) games were designated) these games could include some kind of penalty scenario against . A/ up to a certain age (ie up to 8 year old ) against Chaddy B/Sponsor against third choice keeper I know the kids would be up for it, but I'm also certain quite a few would take it on board
  20. Probably one of the most funny things I've ever seen at a match was Grovesey sitting on the ball pretending to tie his laces, this was when the ball was still in play. Also remember we were playing one of the south coast teams away he absolutely murdered them, all they could do was try to kick him out of the game but he just came back for more & more. R.I.P Alan
