    Really sad news. Seeing Gordon was always part of the experience of being at Boundary Park for me, from when I first started going 35 years ago. Having spoken to him quite a few times, he was always a lovely man. Very sad day for OAFC. RIP Gordon, your voice, presence and passion will be greatly missed.

    I'm definitely up for this Martin, a great idea. I've lived in Edinburgh for almost 20 years, so would be great to meet up and chat Latics. Having Carlisle as my nearest game was getting a bit desperate, was great to see some familiar faces at Stirling on Friday though.

    I think there is a Holiday Inn Express right next to Forthbank stadium. It's a 55min drive from Edinburgh, so that's another option if you want to make a weekend of it.

    He isn't the most mobile of players as we know, but when I've watched him in his games for Aberdeen he picks up a lot of the scraps in the box and works hard. Aberdeen are on a roll, creating lots of chances and Rooney has gone there at the right time. Good luck to him, he didn't do much wrong for us in my opinion.

    How is it a crisis, he's gone because as you say 'we can't score for toffee' and another team wanted him. LJ has decided to do something about it. Let's see who he is bringing in and then we can decide if it is a crisis or not.
