  1. If you're still stuck let me know - PM for my email and send it over - i'll see what I can do. I'll need the .eps though. Cheers, Dan
  2. Was it not just in the playoff semi they had a bit of a row. I was there but didn't see what led up to it? Did it even carry on after that? Probably shook hands and forgot all about it.
  3. Que the "Please Joe, don't go" signs at the end of the season. Just signs though, as we no longer have the scoreboard...
  4. I've gotta agree, I can't stand him. If he bags a few I might change my mind though!
  5. I was sad to see him go. Didn't he score 11 in his last season and get fans player of the season? then davies arrived and 11 goals was good enough to get him top scorer?! I might be wrong but it's the way i remember it. Would've liked to see him stay but then again, it gave a chance for lewi to come through.
  6. Cue taunts of "you've only got two stands" if any chelts fans make it up, that is..
  7. Use quicktime with perian plugin, works fine for me and both for nowt!
  8. Not sure if this has been posted before, but a decent blog on greegs here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/20...y_a.html#037327
  9. If anyone, it'll be them who gets the fine - for not preparing for the game properly and not allocating appropriate tickets and probably for not co-coordinating with the police properly or for failure to control their fans! If nothing more, the police will recommend more presence on matchdays, which will hit them in the pocket on a regular basis!
  10. All part of the game and i'd rather he shoved it in the fans face after all the stick he gets instead of doing something stupid on the pitch!
  11. 1. Outdoor TV's and sound (when the game's not on) so you can keep up with other games and scores - could encorage more casual supporters too so they can watch the end of (or full game) of afternoon kick-offs - especially when it's bigger local teams playing. 2. Beer sellers and refreshments sellers mingling about throughout the game. Those'll do for a start!
  12. I used to live across the street from Andy Rhodes when I was a wee lad. He'd regularly join me and my mate for a kickabout and once or twice Rick Holden and Stitch came along. Was like a young latics supporters dream come true! I was a keeper and stitch headed a ricky cross at me - although he obviously took something off it, I remember thinking that it was like a bullet! Great days! They were all brilliant blokes! I also remember Andy Rhodes first introducing Rick Holden to me and me not recognising him cos he used to dress like a cowboy! ha ha!
  13. It's all about form - stam had an awesome game the other week and was VERY solid all of last season - he looked unhappy on the ball last night against two big and pacy strikers and with no support from our supposed 5th midfielder (no-one tracked back half the time) but that's natural. I think Greegs would've been more imposing but wouldv'e been shown up for pace on a good few occasions last night. Before Greegs was crocked last season he was having a shocker. Both decent players in my book, bit of a different style but i'm happy they both pull latics shirts on
  14. He did look gutted to go off. He got scraps and was far too isolated on his own up front - a lot to ask of the lad against higher league opposition, plus he was kicked up in the air by dirty Burnley every time he got near the ball - he held up well but just didn't get the support he badly needed from midfield or a second striker. He's had a shaky start but i'm sure will come through - lets not get on his back and lets not have another Ricketts situation - a waste of everyones time, our money and our chances of promotion,
  15. Get yourself VMware fusion (or parallels) and a dodgy copy of windows so you can run a virtual machine - works a treat!
  16. A mate of mine used to play with him at shrewsbury - said he was a right cock and not many liked him but he was bloody brilliant and stood out amongst the rest. Also said that he made the effort and won a few round after a while. What a daft thing to do last night though, stupid and pointless - but he'll have his ban, he'll have a bollocking then hopefully it's out of the way and everyone can put it behind them and he'll score a hat-full this season.
  17. It's a giant cock up, What do the club expect? Push some of the chaddy over to the RRE as well as the old family standers in the lookers and expect them all to sit quietly and not get excited next to the away fans....especially dirty buggers like millwall! It's just not possible to stay in your seat all game and not respond to provocation from away fans and on the pitch events - if ANYONE can sit still in a football game, then it's either a crap game or they're not interested in the game! Would've been better to be a bit more organised. Fair point, kids and parents don't need to hear swearing and banter, but they'd get it over the gap from the away fans anyhow, so we might as well respond!
  18. Will be a three match ban for violent conduct, but will hopefully give one of the other lads a chance and give him time to sort himself out!
  19. Cheers for that, i'll get it bought!
  20. Ok, so i was going to buy world for when i'm away with work, but can I log on from anywhere on any computer or is it an application that only works on one machine with the one subscription? Might not always have my laptop. Thanks in advance for any help!
  21. Get a mac (http://www.apple.com/uk/imac/) the specs for thi price is a bargain and you can run windows too if you really want to!
  22. Same happened to me and my nephew when we got ours a few years back! Belting isn't it! He was over the moon! The service and the staff are part of what makes the club what it is!
  23. Was a decent goal, but the best gola i've seen him score was against us for wolves in the FA Cup, season before last. Belter.
