  1. For the price that us punters pay for the merchandise you would really think more thought & skill would go into the design. It's just such a poor effort, when you look around the various leagues & see the the quality of shirt available at the same cost & then we get given this :censored:e.
  2. Really hated the badge when it was released & think it sadly looks amateur. I'm a graphic designer specialising in branding & whilst I actually really like what they did on everton's crest I think ours just looks awful! It's too reactionary to current trends & won't have any longevity...redesign please!
  3. Tis indded option 3! So says the g/f who is Brazilian
  4. So, too early to think of a chant for Tounkare based on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejEVczA8PLU
  5. Imagine how many sponsors you could fit on Gregan's backside!? The club would be debt free for years to come!
  6. Looks great lads! I like it Only thing is, does it really need 'owtb' twice up there?
  7. Just sold him for 290k on FM....I say sold. Didn't have any choice as Corney came out & said he had accepted the bid, as he did with Lomax. I have no bleeding defence now!
  8. Interesting. I'll look into those, cheers! G/f has buggered off for 2 week so some hardcore gaming is going to be done. So Whitts is that good? hmmm Bit of a rethink coming up as I was banking on him for backup. Was also thinking Davies was looking pretty good this season so far but I'll see how things turn out
  9. Anyone having success as Oldham? I'm doing ok, just brought in 2 loanees, centre mid from Arsenal who looks pretty good & Fabio from Manure. Still trying to get the best out of Taylor, anyone having any luck with finding a good tactic?
  10. Leaving us a bit thin on the striker front isn't it!? Can understand he needs games & hopefully will find some form/skill at Stockport but that leaves Smalley & Wolfy as back up!
  11. Wasn't there....sadly! But makes me proud seeing the passion out on display. Hopefully it is that will make the council sit up & take note! Well done boys!
  12. hahaha Be like playing against 11 'its a knockout' contestants, extra padding an' all! ;) it's a shame really, I have all the characteristics to make a good footy player except the ability to pass or run with the ball! Am I Terrible Forbes in disguise!? hahahaha
  13. Eh less of the rugby league bashing! As someone who has footballing flair of a paralytic paraplegic I fell into rugby league & never looked back, even defected to union whilst down here! The Latics are in my heart though, now if only I could actually kick a football! hmmmmmmm
  14. He cannot pour a pint to save his life but his dribbling skills have improved! ;)
  15. Aint open mate, just phoned up! How bout' the Faltering Fulllback in Finsbury Park?
  16. I absolutely hate the pie eaters too, the way the country was expected to get behing the team cos' they were 'little wigan' who stood no chance in the Premiership. I well & truly hope they go down & sink down the leagues into obscurity. Manure (obvious one but needed to be said), & Leeds. Now, I have a lot of Leeds supporting mates which normally makes me take slight allegiance, not the case at all though. Had 1 specimen in a bar in Kings Cross on Saturday who initially thought I was from Leeds incidentally try to tell me about the War of the Roses which according to him Lancashire had lost!? Then proclaimed I should watch myself in Leeds as there were rough bits...there aren't in Oldham!!??? hahaha
  17. Nice work...I was far too depressed to face the pub after.
  18. How Easy Was It To Find? Very easy, saw the floodlights from the 65 bus & hopped off. Car Parking. Was It near? Was It Free? Was It Well Policed/lit? Again, got the bus View. Pillar In The Way? 1 pillar but not too bad Comfort (seating, leg room, does it have a roof etc) No leg room, ball ache if people wanted to get past Toilets. big queues, although I use the term 'queue' loosely Catering (Quality, price, queues) queus looked huge at half time, had a pie before the game which was McDonalds apple pie hot, crumbled at the merest touch, scalding you with its contents & upon eating leaving a sickly sensation in the stomach Atmosphere From Home Fans, How Condusive Was The Away End To Creating A Good Atmosphere Terrible, right polava getting to the seats & the away fans were very subdued throughout! Still put the home fans to shame though! Stewards, Policing Idiots, saw fans kicking off with them. Gave us wrong directions to our seats Pubs, Things To Do Nearby. Is There Much To Do For The Early Arriver At The Site Of The Ground? Griffin, standard pint. Good atmosphere, bbq on outside, top bombing! Overall. Out Of 10, What Do You Feel The Ground Deserves? 5/10 Anything else to offer? I agree, the standing would have been better
  19. Well, what a depressing day out!!! The footbal was dire, the balti pies disgusting & the crowd were very quiet indeed! couple of "Oh when the blues' which didn't really get into full flow & a "ziga zaga" courtesy of Mark which failed to get many people interested. One to forget I think, bring on Yeovil & 3 points!
  20. Great then, The Griffin it is. I'll look forward to twirling one of them there scarves over my head once I get it off you Mark!
  21. Yeah, I thought the New Inn was alright, if a bit like walking in someones house! Griffin it is, noonish, depending on me not getting lost
  22. To stand alone at an empty stadium...sorry, meant Sunday!
  23. Any ideas as to a plan for Saturday? What time is everyone getting down there & is it the Griffin we are meeting at?
