  1. Definitely a closed shop of mongos who it seems know or at least know of each other. Opinions4u is a bell ringer of the finest order. Prozac was the only decent poster and he got hounded out. If you don't agree with what the majority (opinions 4 a dick head) say then your pretty much bullied out of the forums (see Prozac)
  2. A lad openly abuses Paul Scholes, I make a valid point in reply, he is a prick, And you should take your own advice too, you offer all sorts of opinions...but in reality they're all boring, and as insignificant as the next man... go and watch Stockport lad... Haven't you got a kid to look after?? bore off to the park lad and let us fans who actually go discuss any issues.
  3. PRICK Take part in an investment/hobby with your mates, that in reality aint gonna cost you that much and still allows you the coaching/family time you crave, or invest millions into Oldham where he'd have to be heavily involved, more than likely lose a load of cash and lose his cherished family time. Wind it in.
  4. Only by sheep like you, however I can see through a minging draw at Crewe, a stuffy 1-0 over Crawley and a fluky daw at Orient, normal service will be resumed Saturday.
  5. I'm confused because we all know what the atmosphere is like with away fans in Rochdale Rd end only because that's been the arrangement for years, it only changed when the Lookers was knocked down and home fans shared the RRE. So there is zero point in trialling what its like with away fans in the RRE and Oldham everywhere else because we damn well know. The only trial to be had is to give the Chaddy to away fans for one or two games, preferably against Sheff U/Coventry where they will bring a few and make some noise - then the myth about the roof can be put to bed. And also against a team like Crawley who will bring 7 fans and then it can be proven that 1500 Oldham in the rocky is louder than 7 crawley in the Chaddy. Jeez, is it that hard? Plus if the police state its a defo no to away fans in Chaddy, then :censored: this debate off, get that bleeding Lookers stand built and go back to 3 stands for Oldham, RRE for away fans No that difficult. Its so over egged this atmosphere dbate, NYD a few years ago, Forest brought just shy of 3,000, and I seem to remember us beating them 5-0. Any buzz around the ground has been killed by not having a side stand for 6 years, it's like playing Sunday league, and that's before I mention Lockwood, Kissock, Turner et al.
  6. Tranmere won, Shrewsbury picked up a point and a clean sheer at top of the table Wolves, Stevenage have been on a great run....
  7. 1) I'm still angry, I can't believe anyone still backs the salesman. 2) Nah, not really, just giving Matt credit as he was even more vocal than me but has died down a wee bit, probably apathy setting in a wee bit. 3) ? 4) Splinters in my arse pal. - like I said previously, at least i'm consistent, I'm really struggling to understand why you've all been taken in my hechat:censored:, we're going down, WAKE UP!!
  8. Because the manager is dragging us down to the 4th division for the first time since.....in fact I don't know, i'd guess late 70's/early 80's??? Losing a generation of fans in the process... At least we'll have 4 stands....wait a sec, wasn't the structure supposed to take shape in Feb, we're halfway through March. Ok oK, i'll comsole myself with a pint in the Clayton Arms, wait a sec, no I wont!!
  9. There's a few retards on this board, it's a bit like if there's a fire alarm at work, and a certain number of people sit at their desk, still on their phone, they look up and say "it's only a test" Similar situation here, you guys think its a false alarm but its not, we're on out way down. That makes it 4 in 20 (1 in 5), there are 9 games left, that means on current form, a maximum of 2 wins, WAKE UP!!! They will be Crawley and Notts Co. JOHNSON out!!!! Apologies at the end of the season can be made out to Mr Alex Balls. PS before Preston I said we'd lose 4 of the next 6 against PNE, Rotherham, Brentford and Orient, beat Crawley and draw with Crewe. #startlistening
  10. You sound a truly ambitious chap, imagine staying up is one of your achievements in life #stroller
  11. So much for due diligence on all incoming transfers, absolute sales man tosh. I hope we lose every game until the end of the season so this little :censored:er gets the bullet. The fact i'm excited at potentially going to around 15 new grounds in League 2 rather than stay in the :censored: hole of a division League 1 with that con man is worrying but also understandable. Been banging this drum since October and took a lot of unfair abuse, even though I gave valid reason for my opinions, it's refreshing to see people jump on the band waggon that perhaps 3 or 4 were on, but it's also annoying as some of you on here are the one's that gave me and Postman Matt in particular dogs abuse and are now saying the exact same things. ps, we were doomed to fail right from day one when we discovered David Mellor would be playing centre half. I thought it was a good idea playing out from the back but shocking putting a centre midfielder there. Sorry young man, it's time for you to do the decent thing and resign. Don't ask me who I want in, I don't care, just get him out ASAP. Newport away first game, sounds a good piss up :-)
  12. Earlier in the season, I was half joking/half on the wind, but i'm deadly serious in my belief we're going down. Thank you for your reasoned replies though.
  13. 6 in 8 for Rooney at Aberdeen now. Shocking decision...
  14. Sounds as though a lot of you are jumping on my bandwagon???? Johnson is clueless, shows how bad its got, when we're relying on two non-league lads to save us. I can't even be bothered looking but I think that's 4 wins in 18 league games, that's nearly half a season and only 4 wins. I said getting rid of Rooney was a joke, and I was told the club can't win, yes it can!!! give the lad a season to prove himself, it seems the manager gets that grace but not a new player, also don't sell Tarky for a piece of string and a bag of marbles, horrendous how its turned for the worse after a bright start to the season. I lost interest in Johnsons chat after Rotherham away ish, some of you are finally waking up, he's clueless. It's all good and well reading the manuals and listening to your Dad's team talks when you're 10, try and do it at a League 2 budget club and you'll end up in League 2. Our demise is inevitable for me now.
  15. Another scenario... Imagine Chris Birchall, who is white, and qualified to play for Trinidad and Tobago (A majority bl*ck country - I've put the asterix in incase it's racist to say bl*ck) at the 2006 World Cup because his mother was born there whilst his grandparents were on holiday plays a game in Trinidad and the locals start a chant off of ahhhhhh Chris Birchall. I then (hypothetically) run the line in a local Trinidad league fixture and the majority bl*ck locals chant ahhhhh Chris Birchall at me, would piss my pants and have a cry about it??? No I wouldn't and to be fair, no bl*ck (insert alternative to try and not offend - mixed raced, half cast, coloured etc) has said zip. As per usual in this country, problems are cause by "do-gooders" feeling they have to stand up for all minorities as we've been brain washed into believing we're the most offensive creatures on the planet, because there were racist chants 40 years ago. Now where's that fat speccy curly haired illegitimate bastard, i'm gonna bog** wash the smelly get. **NB ** No offence intended to all the toilets of this world. Johnson out!!! Green arrow away...
  16. Another Dickov-ism. The similarities between the two of them is quite unbelievable. We managed to get a good 6 months out of Dickov though. The issue of next seasons team is one that irks me because when the season started, I watched on at Stevenage with a great deal of excitement for the season ahead. The line up was Oxley, Brown, Tarkowski, Grounds, Mellor, Dayton, Smith, Baxter, Montano, MacDonald, Rooney. With the exciting Clarke-Harris and Schmeltz coming on from the bench, and experienced clogger Byrne seeing the game out. The whole gameplan was to play out from the back, and use the wingers pace and trickery to supply chances to the goal poacher MacDonald and reliable 1 in 3 Rooney. Against Tranmere yesterday, There was no Tarkowski, sold for a pittance, no Baxter, sold for a pittance, No Montano (which isn't LJ's fault) and no Rooney, released before he ever really got going. Clarke-Harris hasn't improved to the level we all hoped, Schmeltz is another who has been let go prematurely too, and Byrne has been replaced by another aging clogger, we may as well have kept him, who was doubling up as coach and also liked being around the place, and someone the other players looked up to. The decision to release Rooney was an awful one, the lad should at least have been given a full season and now Aberdeen are reaping the goalscoring rewards. What has happened? Why has LJ had a 'Dickov moment' and bottled his gameplan? What happened to due diligence on signings and them being well thought out? I don't recognise the team now, it has been littered with loans and short term deals, Lockwood, Worrall, Harkins, Dunfield, Stead, Kissock,,Turner, Wilson, while he's binned off new signings from the summer after 6 months. The football is also awful, everyone raved how good it was to watch us, we were always the better side but we just couldn't win (a comment that always made me chuckle) now we still don't win but the football is shocking, we were awful against both Bristol City and Gillingham, it was penny-esque. I still think we'll go down, which could be positive if it means Johnson getting the boot, i'd then like to see a mixture of young vibrant players with a sprinkle of older heads. And i'd like to see a return of the 'pretty football' that was so enjoyable in August and September. And just to update, we have now only won 4 out of 17 in the league, and our next few fixtures are Preston, Rotherham, Crewe, Crawley, Orient and Brentford. I can see one win against Crawley and one draw against Crewe. Relegation form.
  17. Here'ssss Alex...... I'm a man of my word and kept my council for a couple of months BUT......this thread was too juicy not to partake..... Firstly, it seems where as myself, Post man Matt, may have been Harry and one or two others were in a vocal minority, i'd say a good 20-30% have joined us in doubting Johnson, I say doubting, I cant stand the bloke, I really wish he hasn't appointed him, you guys won't agree but hey at least i'm consistent, unlike Johnson. Moving onto Harkins over Baxter, wow just wow, I can't even find the words to type how ridiculous this is. Johnson's hands would have been tied with him leaving, but if we had a magic wand, many would rather have Harkins.......A pub player who is standing out because ALL of the other :censored: houses don't stand up and be counted. Selling Tarkowski is another joke, but hey we managed to get 3 non league players in, WTF am I hearing?, sorry reading, have you all gone insane??? This team is terrible. And to say it goes to the stand, jog on, as if a low 6 figure some goes anywhere towards financing a £6 million stand, the finances will already be in place for that (or maybe not seeing how slow its being 'built'....anyway back to the "manager" He told us that signings would be thought out, that's why a quick ponder at the squad on Tues sees in the starting XI, 3 loan players, and 3 who have been drafted in on short term deals, on the bench another loan player and a player from the conference north, the conference NORTH!! 3 divisions below, not to mention the bulb from Macclesfield who is on a "long trial" but will never see the starting XI. I said letting Rooney go was a mistake, I was right, banging them in in a division that is just as good if not better than our division. Anyway, my blood pressure is about to go through the roof, but one little fact to leave you with.... Out of the last 16 League One games, we have won 4. That form will see us fall through the trap door this season, i'm convinced of it, hell even League 2 fodder Gillingham (who were appalling) should have taken all 3 points. Worrying times ahead. TUNNEL VISION noun 1. a drastically narrowed field of vision, as in looking through a tube, symptomatic of retinis pigmentosa. 2. AN EXTREME NARROW OR PREJUDICED OUTLOOK; NARROW MINDEDNESS. LEMMING noun any of various small, mouselike rodents of the genera Lemmus Myopus, and Dicrostonyx, of far northern regions, as L. lemmus, of Norway, Sweden, etc., noted for periodic mass migrations that sometimes result in mass drownings. CONFIDENCE MAN (CON-MAN) noun a person who swindles others by means of a confidence game, SWINDLER. SALESMAN noun a man who sells goods, services etc. Red arrow away, I won't be staying around to read the vitriol i'm about to receive for highlighting the truth.
  18. Sorry I filled some in wrong on my fixtures so just checked bbc, IN THE LEAGUE (which is our bread and butter) we have won 4 in 14!!! that is shocking,
  19. If i spent a third of a million pounds on a player i'd tell them to :censored: off if they said you cant use him in a game thats 2 months away. ridiculous suggestion.
  20. I loved Pogs. My dislike of Oxley stemmed from the fact he needed a rocket up his arse, we'd be losing and he'd take an age to get the ball moving again. It can also not be denied that he cost us a number of goals by parrying it out into the 6 yard box for tap ins. He also seems more interested in pouting and keeping his hair set. Having said that, he has impressed over the last few games (despite conceeding 7 in 2)
  21. It's cockist, not sure why discussing the size of one's penis would make you racist, unless there is a race of cocks???
  22. . We get a percentage of the profit which is what you alluded to, 15% sounds about right. Villa had £1.5m rejected.
