Way things are going its division Two or administration ,, take your pick !

No wonder Robinson was hinting in tonight's Chron the the Gerrard deal was practically dead. Wasn't it only a few weeks ago that we where told that we had first dibs on Gerrard and it was just a matter of getting him fit and up to speed ? Same old Latics again, give the fans some hint of positive news knowing full well that the odds are stacked against it coming off. Lowering the price of match day tickets is just another example of the powers that be scurrying around trying to find a few quid. Did they really believe that a five game offer would work ? or did they just think it would shut the moaners up for a few weeks ? Once again clear evidence that we are heading in one direction under the current setup !

Our problem has been the way we have just lingered in this division for so many years. If we had dropped out of the league in say 3 or 4 seasons we might have have managed to keep hold of some fans. The departed have simply lost hope in the club and cannot see anything other than a struggle year after year to just stay in Division one.

For some reason the club will not give wheelchair users a numbered seating space for the season. Despite many requests over the years the best we are offered is just choosing which stand we want to view the game from. I suggest you ask the club to reissue you the ticket for the end that you actually want to sit in.

I heard somebody needed medical treatment so that might be the reason ?

I am all for giving the kids a go but this game doesnt warrant a tenner . Would be a nice gesture from the club to put some kind of silver lining on a terrible summer !

If we manage to field a team, maybe latics could do the decent thing and give their long suffering support free entry? At the moment I'm sure not many will have much enthusiasm to pay to watch a team that has been knocked up in under two weeks.

How come latics players struggle to get into the "swing of things" then ?

50k sounds like a good deal to me. Helps pay off the debts and clears the way for our new mystery manager to put his own stamp on the team. Three cheers for Simon and the board of directors !!

Bit odd that the Facebook protest group is member only? Surely let people see what your intentions are and if they are impressed they will join the ranks?

One of the big problems with the trust is a lot of people got completely turned off after the Barry Owen era. The damage done to the reputation of the trust will take a long time wipe from people's minds.

Thought the athleticos supported the club no matter what? First they helped sing to get kelly out and now leading the protests to bin the owner. Maybe they can now accept they are no better than the rest of us?

There will be concessions in those season ticket sales. My disabled pass will entitle me to £60 back and not the full £150. Therefore I would imagine the figure is lower than the quoted £150000.

Maybe trying to get the snow off the pitch would have done even more damage to an already rank playing surface ?

I would like to think that the clubs ticketing system would have the date of renewal for the new ticket? Saying that we are dealing with latics ?

Would be an idea for the club to update the website. Not a twitter feed or whatever they used. Big header at the top of the page. If the game was in doubt at 11 then get it on the website. I appreciate the ref calls it but the club can do its bit to keep us updated.

Game should have been called off sooner than 1.30. This is the second time I have travelled 35 miles to arrive at BP to find the game cancelled. Do the club think that all the fans live in Oldham and leave home at 2.30 etc

Think one of our main problems is we let players go on the cheap. I am sure most will accept the fact that we are and always will be a selling club, but do we have to take bottom dollar for our assets ? Crewe over the years have uncovered star players and they have played hard ball when it comes to getting the right amount of cash for them. Seth Johnson, Dean Ashton, Rob Hulse, Nicky Maynard have all gone for over a million quid. Why do we seem to think its ok to flog Tarky for approx £300000 ? The problem we have now is other clubs know full well that they can bid rock bottom and probably come away with the player they want, Crewe on the other hand must have a reputation for not accepting low ball offers.

The problem is we have been searching for a striker for months! Dunn couldn't solve it and shez has the same problem. This must be down to us having no cash, we will probably sign a striker who can't get fixed up elsewhere and is prepared to play a few months with us for bugger all.
