    Philliskirk didn't do much and Yeates played some wayward crosses and corner kicks when he came on. Enough to convince me it was a good decision to let them go to create room for new players.

    Main chases everything so he's a terrific defensive asset in my opinion, in addition to the quality he brings in terms of his power and long distance shooting. He helps us defend from the front. Holloway's hold-up play is also fantastic and this is helping the players around him get chances. It's also helping us retain possession and take pressure off the defense. The goals will come for both of them I think, but I wouldn't judge those two on goals alone because of the other qualities they bring.

    We saw a side struggling under the weight and pressure of the occasion. I thought every player tried their best. I felt too many players were over-thinking every pass because of nerves. The time Mike Jones tried to take on their defenders when a cross was the best option is an example from last night.

    The Shrews must have parped their pants when he rocked up in the tunnel. Great move by Sheridan. Do we think he's got the potential to be our new Gregan? Nice to have a leader that the fans can get excited about!

    Much better football from us from the same useless bunch of players. A few signings and we might be able to start getting results, but not with clowns like J. Wilson and our two goalkeepers.

    He's only shown his best form in flashes. I'm not too bothered about him leaving as long as we strengthen in areas we really need to.

    It sounds like these improvements at Chapel Road are long overdue. It can't be nice eating all your meals off your knees in a changing room that no doubt stinks of BO.
