Ill back the team during the game but if they dont give us what we want people have a right to moan it cant be stopped. I was at work today looking back at the fixture list for 02/03 wishing i could go back in time for the days where fans were always happy and our team was invinsible. Great days, being unbeaten away until march, massive away support, great atmostpheres, players who cared. You look at this season and cant help but think its going to be dull, with more downs than ups. Who actually is looking forward to Hartlepool at home on friday night- id say about 3500 will be there, with 50% of that crowd feeling like we will fu** up in the 86th minute like usual. Id like to hope that it will come good but i dont buy this "i will be happy with mid table", as what is the point we may aswell finish 17th. Anyway we will see what happens but i wish it was inspiring as the 02/03 season

Stockport- played well Carlisle- played awful- was a very dull game to watch swindon- played well 1st half, defence shocking stanley- dire 2nd half

I thought Dave's sides are meant to be tight units I thought Dean Furman was a star of the future and we would get a big fee for him I thought Rueban Hazel would be solid I though Dean Brill would be a safe bet I thought we would have signed a centre half by now I thought david would bring good times back ....................... For the first time in years in genuinely questioning why i bother wasting so much money on latics, granted i moaned a lot last season and to be fair it dint warrant it sometimes but its the same old crap every year, holding on to 1-0 leads against average sides at home and somehow completely it up with stupid mistakes!! How many of us on here have said all pre season we need a centre half and no penney is content with them 2 idiots (more rueban) we have no one challenging them for their place ffs!! Its obviously going to be another season of and the TTA moan about lack of fans but what do they expect with a team that lets us down so often, whos actually motivated to go latics at the moment?

i was encouraged on saturday i can accept when we play well and dont win but if you would have seen how we played last night it would only make you wonder how we are going to pick anything up at orient or millwall

last night was truly shocking one of the worst performances for years on that evidence we will struggle this season we have played 2 sides who will be near the bottom this season and failed to score

Course we have been jipped hes worth far more than 350k im very suprised we have caved in and accepted that. Why Delph is worth 6 million and shelvey at Charlton is valued at 8 million after a small amount of games is beyond me. Wouldnt be suprised if we sold Taylor for 500k it seems you have to be a big club like Leeds to over price a player. Neals played a host of games and is a full international at 20 and we have accepted peanuts for him if the reported fee is true, there have been no mention of add on and clauses too which makes it even worse
