  1. Yes it is reserved seating this year, therefore you have received around 250 more tickets than last year.
  2. That is a bit of a myth. We took 2,800 on two occasions. One was the last away game of the season when we were securing a play off position in our centenary season and the year after when we were in 3rd and Bury were 4th near the end of the season as well. We took 2,000 when we were top of the league on a Monday night live on Sky as well. Apart from that we usually take 1,200ish. Also it seems £23 is beyond the cut off point for many and the fact we have played Bury a lot more often in recent years means there is a bit more about it.
  3. You know why that is? Because we are a small club and we know it!
  4. As a Dale fan I had been waiting for this fixture to happen for a long time and it was the first fixture I looked for after our promotion. But I have to say it has been a bit disappointing so far to be honest. I think it's down to a mixture of the fixture not happening for such a long time, all ticket games ruining any chance of our floating fans turning up and nothing really of note has happened so far. Us winning at your place last season will have annoyed you a bit but most of our fans still see the Bury games as more of a rivalry, but that only really took off in the past couple of years thanks to a few tasty fixtures towards the end of the season when we were both doing well. There needs to be a real controversial incident that really gets everyone annoyed to spice things up a bit. I for one hope we both stick around the same division for a bit because as our nearest rivals it should be a cracking derby match.
  5. Strangely enough after reading people's thoughts on here and having just seen the highlights I thought it was never a penalty and a definite red card!
  6. Funnily enough a few Dale fans including myself thought that there seemed miles less home fans there than the original tie!
  7. Well a couple of weeks ago I would have been but seeing as we could only manage 3,200 or so for the home game then it's not looking likely is it?!
  8. I think that's slightly unfair, we always have pretty much the highest ratio of away support as a percentage of our home support and we took 2,800 to Bury 2 years running and then 2,000 last year on a Monday night which was also live on Sky. I think we will bring between 2,000-2,500 which considering our home support is good.
  9. Good point, so I suppose I should say thank you for reacting so angrily! To be fair, it would have been a disgrace if there were to be any extra charge.
  10. This will be my last post on the subject but I fail to see how it's embarrassing. Let's go through events. Game abandoned Tuesday night. Wednesday: Discussions between both clubs over ticketing arrangements and statement announced for Thursday. Meanwhile Oldham fans talk of conspiracy, how Rochdale are trying to rip everyone off and sending emails complaining to the football league. Thursday: Statement released announcing tickets to be exchanged for free.
  11. Your clubs policy is that everybody would have been admitted for half price, not exactly fair that is it? 8 minutes football for half price. In all seriousness I could understand the frustration if we had decided to charge for the rematch but we haven't. How would you have felt had we a public policy saying that you would have had to pay half price for the return game and then after discussions that took say 2 days we changed our minds to offer it for free? Imagine the 2 days of furore saying what a scandalous policy it was!
  12. Did I miss the part where the referee and his assistants were quite happily warming up on the pitch with seemingly no worries or did the referee arrive at quarter to eight, kick off and then decide to abandon it? The referee was there in plenty of time to postpone the game before it kicked off.
  13. The policy was on the back of the ticket. "The price of the ticket will not be returned to the holder in any circumstances if the match is abandoned". So we have actually changed our policy to allow everybody back in free and you are still moaning. Get a life.
