  1. I agree with you prozac. We will collect data when we know it works and our colleagues at OCL are comfortable with the concept. The the sky is our limit! Enjoy the game tonight.
  2. Would be a shame to lose stories like this! http://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/news-features/8/news-headlines/53023/hussain-kicks-badboy-attitude The money this project has potentially saved Oldham Council and other bodies is yet another reason why keeping the club in the Borough is of benefit to all involved!
  3. On sale up to day before game so all at £18 except Main Stand Lower which is £17. Kids tickets available too (But not in main stand)
  4. Couldnt agree more but as tickets through OCL will be registered on their till system and this is a totally new concept we want to get the selling bit right first before we ask them to record additional details etc. Should this idea work then we would develop over the summer to capture data and look at how we market this to OCL customers and try and do some moer joined up work... Our Season Ticket holders and their Gym members! Not taking a shortcut just want to get the basics right and see if selling tickets works first.
  5. We have gone for the easy option initially of just selling the tickets without getting additional details. If this proves to be worthwhile then we can look at capturing peoples data and exploring other opportunities (ie Merchandise?)
  6. We will know from systems in place what tickets have been bought from which centres so that we can get allocations correct going forward.
  7. Sports centre staff at the 4 sites have the info they need and we will be placing posters up at all 4 sites. Thanks to OCL for the support... lets hope people use the service! Next season... tickets and merchandise? Thoughts?
  8. Hopefully this will make it a little easier for some! http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsUpdate/0,,10337~2297614,00.html
  9. (iv) If a Player accumulates ten cautions in FTCM between the opening day of the Playing Season and the second Sunday of April in the same Season, he will be suspended automatically for a period covering:- Two First Team matches
  10. Nice thought but they are unlikely to provide funding due to a) the amount we would require their stipulation that "the activity will not result in personal/private benefit" Also Who cannot apply for funding The following are not eligible to receive support: • Individuals. • Private businesses. • Organisations that we believe are in a poor financial position or whose financial management systems are not in good order. We will base our opinion on an organisation’s financial position and management systems, an analysis of their accounts, other management information and interviews with the organisation itself.
  11. FA for grassroots football and some stadium improvements via the Football Foundation Football League - No Neither would give us the money we need
  12. Fair point but we will continue to do what we do and show people in Oldham yet anbother benefit to having a club is what it contributes to the communities across the Borough!

  16. Yes! There will need to be a resubmission on the proposal of transfer of land to the Charities Commission. Not ideal and will take more time but ultimately they have not given an outright No... Just a No based on the information they were given. Hiopefully the Council will take on baord the feedback from the CC and undertake a more robust and transparent process next time. Reading between the lines the door is not closed yet. Look at Brighton and how look it took there ground plans to develop. Slightly different case but shows with perseverance what can be acheived!
  17. We have only just finalised the details to start in January! It will be ongoing so if it is something you may want to do in the future the opportunity will still be there.
  18. We will be mentioning to Year 11s later as this will be an ongoing program. More thinking of those that maybe finished last year, decided against college and not been able to find a job? Already had sign ups just thought some on here may know someone or maybe interested themselves. Would prefer to have Latics fans if possible!
