    Just noticed there is a group on Facebook I joined on Sunday called "Welcome Home Joe".... I was knocked out it has 1000 members with numerous comments of support.

    My dad didnt go and watch any live football till i turned 5 years old and started moaning about wanting to watch latics, that was in 1986 and so my dad and my mum quickly fell in love with Roger Palmer, as did I. So I will put my mum & dad down as Palmer fans. Im also not afraid to point out both my mum and dad stopped going when the glory days ended. If anyone wants to give them some sh*t I'll supply a direct telephone number

    My major problem will be I was 14 when Royle left. So all my Royal era shirts are sizes 6 years to 14 years. I could look like a bit of a perv if I try and fit one over my beer chest now.

    Fact of the matter is I'm all out of rage and heartache , that was used on a considerable number of dire performances dating back to November. In truth Im just glad to have Royle back and will enjoy the next 9 games whatever it brings. BFJBA
