agreed, needs to make some inspired signings, and get off to a good start. Not the best or most inspiring appointment, but i hope he can prove himself.

I have been thinking the same, went to interview with a 100 day plan, also identified the weakness within Barnsley and identified the players he wants to bring in, all whilst in charge of Latics. so much about him saying that it wasn't necessarily that he wanted to leave, but a big opportunity. I appreciate that it may only taken a few hours or whatever to do, but the fact remains that whilst he was doing it, he wasn't a 100% committed to Oldham and that is what I think is wrong as think about it may of lead to distractions in other aspects of his job

I am surprised that more fans arent made managers, every week in every ground we all hear how fans feel that certain player should be taken off, and the formation etc is wrong, and that the team would be performing better if they did it as they said, so why not give these fans a crack at it as with all their knowledge of watching teams for the past 10, 20 30 years they know it all. it happens all the time know days people sending in cv from their football managers, a scottish club was on new about it a few weeks ago. but in another twist to football manager, aparently a forign club a few seasons back used it to see what certain players were like as they couldnt travel to see them to see if it was worth trying to buy them, and they did buy a player they spotted in the game

i am fed up of people going on about getting Big Joe back in and some of the other players from back in the days, we have got to stop living in the late 80's early 90's. those days have gone never to return time to look forward. the have been put on gardening leave as part of their notice to being made redundant/sacked. ever sine PD was appointed i have said that it will be good to have him at the club and i still do, but not so much for his managerial skills as he really doesnt have any, i always felt that he should be made a director football or similar role where he can use connection to bring in the players he has, but he needs someone with experience to get the best out of these players. it might not be the complete overhaul that many are wanting, but at least they have started to act. On the whole the players arent that bad, but for whatever reason they are just not performing, and not really surprising that they have completely gone to pot now Derbyshire went back to forest with the reserves not playing to well, and with no one looking like coming through looks like the first teamers may have been gtting a little lazy

I love these imminent signing, there was that striker 5 weeks ago, and a new signing in the early part of this week, cant wait for the end of the week to see who comes in next.

i would encourage anyone who has persistant chest pains/twinges to get themselves sorted out,` and to keep pushing the doctors to do more deeper checks. last year i was suffering with pains/twinges and they put it down to panic attacks and stress. but i wasnt happy with that and after further checks i was diagnosed with irregular heart beat due to electrical pulses. if they hadnt of caught chances were i would of had a stroke or some other heart problems get yourselves sorted. it was a shame RB died so young especially as he could of been treated for it RIP

just been looking into it, aparently in england. the premier league and fa, have a loophole where a player can play for more than 2 clubs in on emergency loan. england is the only country which this is allowed. nicky shorey and asmir begovich will have played for 3 clubs this year

i think a players in scotland was also refused to be allowed on loan at a thirdsecond club, as he had played 7 minutes whilst on loan, but there must be something that would of allow to play

isnt there a rule where you can only play for 2 clubs in a season. he has played for doncastor and oldham so he shouldnt be allowed to play for brfc or doesnt that rule count for lower leagues
