Great turnout from Latics as usual AWFUL turnout from Rochdale. All ticket your avin a laff. Massive club. Ground was half empty. I bet there wern't much more Dale there than Latics tonight

Personally Id rather see us try and sign some one younger and fresher. Macken hasn't done it for years, City fans thought he was bad. He is injury prone, we don't need anymore injury prone players, especially strikers.

Why don't we just scrap it all together? Because I thought the idea of it was to put teh fans views across to the club But basically what is happening and has been happening for a long time is the trust side with the owners against the fans How about we get a real fans group together with some one passionate who represents the clubs views to run it, who will post on here regular and will be regulary available to discuss matters with fans This is vital especially in the current climate with there being such a division with the fans and the club. Wer only a small club after all and we need to stick together and we have no chance with this current set up

Makes me laugh how we all slate TTA for there managerial appointments yet at the time of appointment most of us backed there decision. Talbot - had a god proven record at Rushden (TTa maybe should have took into consideration that Talbot used money at R and D) Sheridan - all fans wanted him as boss and did reasonably well Moore - came in with a proven record at Rotherham with no money and then saved us from going down (which a lot of people forget), then took us to near playoffs Penney - proven record again at Darlington, no one from Darlo can speak a bad word about him as a manager and would have got them into the playoffs with out the point deduction. You can't really blame TTa's for there appointments, I just think it portrays the problems within the club, lack of funds, not enough income, fan base, stadium, town that doesn't support there club etc. Give TTA's a break, these guys have saved us and pumped endless amount of cash into the club. There finances are not endless and the support they have received from the local council and local companies have been shocking (but thats another subject) Give Penney time and let him do his job.

Went down to Latics yesterday to pick up 2 medium adult shirts, one home and away for me and our kid. Apparantly the shop has sold out of medium adult sizes in both the home and away top and won't be gettin delivery till mid October. What type of club are we, it isn't even summer when the mad shirt rush is in!!

Give Mr Penney a chance. He is still learning the best formations for our team and we definately won't see the best till after christmas. He has the chance in January to strengthen the side and by then he should have identified our weaknesses and then has a chance to address them. Anything around midtable will do for me this year Year 1 - Re build Year 2 - Push on

No matter how bad Royle does next season it will not affect his previous achievments with OAFC. I say keep him on, hopefully give him a "reasonable" budget and see whats happens

Hes obviously frustrated as we all are and he has every right to be. The players just don;t care and its hard to watch when we pay 20 quid and they cant be botherd to turn up for 90mins a week!!!

Can you blame him? The dross were served up is shocking. For 20 quid of our hard earned cash we dont get much in return. All we want to see is good passing football from commited players instead we get useless hoofing from half assed

im with Derek, we give him FAR too much space. It was ridiculous. But he did look impressive, very good touch and confident. Also hes a giant!!! That was the story of Latics today, we gave them far too much space and couldn;t string our passes together
