  1. Tried to send a private message but your inbox must be full. All the best, thanks for your kind words http://www.backstreets.com/ Cheers
  2. Last comments - I thought you might pipe up Singe. If you care to read what I said my reasoning for not buying a season ticket next year is nothing to do with Corney and his investment - he deserves a good return given his patience. I was merely pointing out to Diego that in my opinion he has reasons for staying, not just to keep a few people who post on here happy! I've had enough and will pick and choose my games as is my privelege, as was yours when you moved down south for a job or loved one probably - and yet you see yourself auhorised to sit in judgement of others? I stand by my comments about the town not deserving a club - it grates a bit when people from afar seem keen to judge the situation with perpetual sniping. As for the 23 year old who insisted I should "keep the faith" - trust me I was like you once. You're probably one of the Ultras! - better be careful. Finally, yes I will :censored: off, as I said in a private message I don't call a few messages in one day, the first time in almost 12 months attention seeking! Live and let live PS - By the way, i know you're a Bruce fan, they're releasing a track per day from the new Springsteen album - see his site for details. It's an angry album apparently - enjoy!
  3. The executive tickets are double that mate. Plus the others who regularly pay for the private boxes (portacabins). They might only be a small minority - bit like the small amount of people on here who regularly post, they don't represent the majority.
  4. You thought wrong then smartarse and stop trying to pick a fight - i really can't be arsed. I said I've lost my desire, I'll see most of the rest of the games, having paid for the dearest ticket available but I won't be renewing. OK with you that?
  5. There's no point. But selling the ticket won't guarantee them attending, one good stuffing and it'll all go tits up. It's a strange idea.
  6. And property prices will never go back up eh? Part of me hopes you're all right but I reckon even if he turns out to be an ongoing nutter who will continue to "show faith and keep losing money" the club will still continue to diminish. The truth is Oldham doesn't deserve a team. This will be my last season ticket; after 37 years of support I really didn't care if the penalty against Walsall went in or not, I just wanted to go home. I've had enough, good luck you you all.
  7. The Land. It will be worth something. That's not crap. How else do you explain a continuing desire to lose money, eh? Lemmings.......................
  8. If you're the last one Diego turn the light out. Do you really think he's not looking to get as much of his money back as he can? Really?
  9. We could always play 3 in midfield, I can't believe he went with 3 wingers away at MK Dons; Taylor will never make a decent centre mid. And if Smith is the answer then the crowds will be below 2k in Div 2.
  10. From the main stand it sounded a bit louder than usual; the RRE sounded similar to be honest. Be good if the sound was all in one place - the RRE has better facilities and no stanchions. Surprised at the younger ones choosing the Chaddy but I'm 50 so an old fart I guess.
  11. Yes - back to the original post; too much complacency on here from the expert anoraks, some of whom never :censored:in attend. My concern is our tactics, comments like " we can only play one way"....mmm just made it easier for Shez. We need more creativity in selection, substitutions etc.
  12. Some good points made there. i was having some banter with a red fan on FB last week (typical red, never goes can't get a ticket etc etc) and he says his son (who has been to a few Latics games) came back from Old Trafford, his first Utd game,, buzzing & singing " we all hate Leeds Scum" - that was after playing Basel Not racist, maybe pushing the boundaries? I don't know - at 50 maybe it's my age? When the whole thing is analysed its tribal and rules are difficult to draw up & impossible to enforce, as the blog hints at - the answer is self governance I think. For what it's worth the Ian Moore song was easy to sing and quite catchy for our young "boot boys" - probably nothing more sinister!
  13. Yes, makes me feel very uncomfortable, knowledge bordering on closet red syndrome, a dangerous state
