  1. I'm a bit gutted about this. Not because Rochdale won, but because I told the tipsters at work that they had no F'n chance! Some paper predicted a Rochdale win...
  2. I've read that Axl's been up to his old 'go on stage x hours late' tricks again. It wasn't grown up, or indeed funny, in 1992 and still isn't now.
  3. Funny, but I was disappointed. I was actually expecting him to :censored: himself!
  4. That was Hall's first, and he got booked. Taylor's first goal was much later, at Carlisle. Not sure how he celebrated his first home goal. Fair play to Tounkare anyway - the players must feel that the fans are behind them, which is a refreshing change!
  5. I can't get used to reading 'Taggart' and not thinking it refers to the arrogant red-nosed Salford RedSoxx bastard. Anyway, all sounds positive! I think we're going to do well this year (but then I say that every year...)
  6. Mrs Anchor and myself both had season tickets for the first time last season (what a great one to pick! ). But we won't be renewing this year because our first child is due at the end of September, and our priorities (mainly financial, but time as well) are going to change. I'm hoping to get to some games though, and maybe bring a new Latic in 3 or 4 years time!
  7. Mrs Anchor has had a Desire for a while now. It's a very slick phone. And you don't have to be a trend-following sheep to get one.
  8. I think that's harsh. Abbott spent most of his games last season getting the ball hoofed to him at the edge of the penalty area, then having to make something of it himself whilst overcoming the three defenders that had surrounded him by this point. Wonder why we didn't score many goals?
  9. That's a very good deal at the moment Tony. Which network was that from? Android rulez!
  10. I've got a feeling that the Conservatives will get a small overall majority. I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway.
  11. I've read lots of times this season how Gray is the one with the passion and anger on the touchline. And how he always applauds the away fans at the end. Whether he's actually up to the job is another matter though. Seemed overly keen to stress how much he loves the club in his interview, despite just having been informed that his had mate 'left'.
  12. They do lower their veils, at the gate before they're allowed to board. But I get your point. Try to check in with a balaclava on and see how far you get. I'd bet at least as far as your undies!
  13. Look at the people in Oldham and Royton, look at the kids in the local schools, look at what people in the local area watch in the local pubs. See who's football kits they're wearing. Hopefully then you'll realise that the separation you yearn for is already eroded.
  14. That wasn't because he took Furman off, but because he left Smalley on!
  15. What a complete balls up. TTA must be wishing they'd never heard of Oldham.
  16. I stand by it. Perhaps it will be sorted when the training is finished. By God, I hope so.
  17. Your posts are often hard to read at the best of times (hopefully you don't write your medical reports without punctuation). Where to start? Well, PRANK? Come on. I'd dread to be a patient at the business end of such a 'prank' if I'm wheeled into A&E. Especially if the doctor considered such a sustained assault a 'prank'. It's clear that you're not a parent (neither am I). But that comment is truly repulsive. I happen to believe that I shouldn't be burgled if I accidently left my door unlocked. Would that make the burglary my fault? Or would the burglar be to blame? I think you're JUST A TAD HARSH to think that the mother should take the blame for losing sight of her toddler for a period of time. Who hasn't had that happen, as a parent or a child? Do you think the mother doesn't suffer every day for her lapse? I seriously wonder if you are fit to serve as a doctor with those views.
  18. Yes, it does unfortunately. Because he's on licence for MURDER, and if the threat of being returned to prison if he doesn't keep his nose clean isn't sufficient, he probably shouldn't be out in the first place.
  19. Err, because he was released on licence for MURDER! If he didn't understand what he did, and it's consequences, when he was 10 I'd hope he understood it before he was released. And no, I doubt he's been recalled for speeding... I find your insinuations about the victim's family a little tasteless too. I know they're Scousers, but where's your evidence?
  20. Yes, it's by Ministry, not NIN. Left last year's NIN gig after 3 songs. Still, I'd seen Jane's Addiction, which was my plan. How about the mighty Wolfsbane (for those older than 30-odd): Class! Edit: This! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xk9r8_min...new-world-order
