I met Jimmy Quinn on hols once when he was still playing.He told me that Ian Marshall was a right softarse,squealed like a girl when he had his toes stood on.Said Roger Palmer was the dirtiest player around,tackled around the kneecaps and was hated by Blackburns players after hurting one of their players with a "very naughty" challenge!! Get in Roger,i'm sure he deserved it!!!

Mr Briefs(GH) i was sat in the Chaddy today and i knew the left back was taking it so im sure Brill should have known.It was ANOTHER basic error from the worst 1st choice keeper we have ever had in my Latics life time(over 25 yrs).Earlier in the season i said he cant be that bad having played over 100 league games etc but yes it seems he really is. A big problem is that if he had let 25 goals in today and been at fault for every one he will still play next week!!! Thats bad management i'm afriad my friend.

I got 2 tickets today and all the Main Stand Upper is sold out.According to the Chron only half of the season tickets in the Rocky End have exchanged there tickets for elsewhere. What is the capacity these days btw?

I see Dutty about once a week walking down Ripponden Road with his shorts on in this weather!!! Dont get chance to speak to him as i'm going the other way in the car,but hes alive and well at least!! Not seen him at Latics for ages though.

My dad was in McDonalds on his way to Palm Springs from Vegas with his Latics top on when a voice said "i recognise that top".It was Neil Adams on his honeymoon if i remember rightly.Think it was the same holiday that he dived into the waterless pool and banged his head(could be wrong about that). A couple of months later my dad was in Yates wine lodge Oldham,after about 10 minutes the barman said"Neil Adams has sent you a pint" and he was there with his thumb up.Top man. Footbal wise i always remember him being Big Joes scapegoat when things werent going right during a game.We used to say Joe only had 2 sub board numbers which were 2(Fleming) and 7(Adams).Cracking player though,happy days.

Tough one but would go with Edwards.Mainly because Shez said,earlier in the season,that he saw Edwards as a full back rather than winger,so if he doesnt get in at full back tomorrow then has he got much of a future here? And because Lomax is right footed.Not always a problem,but could get caught out having to use left foot to cross etc.
