    MOTM Vs. Yeovil

Voted Hazell for the crunching tackle he did on their lad. Sums up the team performance when that earns you MOM
  2. I thought more people would be happy with this draw TBH Outside of the prem, I think Burnley was one of the best draws we could of got after it was decided we we're playing away. Sure, we could of got another team like Mansfield away but for all the reasons Rocky_Latic & shezisgod2007 have said I would much prefer a game against local rivals. We should bring a great following like usual and I've heard from a few of my Burnley-supporting friends they aren't relishing the match, pressure on them and all that !
  3. Porter also missed a header which looked a real chance for someone of his aerial threat. Another chance fell to Richie at the back post, thought he could of done better. Well, a simple cross and header across goal which fell to Beckett. A typical Beckett goal some may say. Thought Glombard looked a threat everytime he got the ball, looks a very good player. Sheridan finally switched Taylor to the right for a period in the game, from then on like you said, he hardly touched the ball. Not really showing himself like he did in the first half and with options such as Glombard on the bench it has to be 100% from start to finish. Agreed.
  4. Yes it is Skilling, my mistake. What great stories, made me laugh especially the hockey stick and sharp stone ... Can imagine him doing things like that.!!. ''I haven't seen him for 14 years and I'd rather feed wrap my manhood in bacon and offer it to a hungry pitbull than cross him'' Lol many would agree He once managed the school team, covering for our regular manager. The most defensive minded manager ever, wouldn't let full backs take a throw, wouldn't allow us to pass the ball back to the keeper etc etc. Not a man you would want to have an issue with, to say the least
  5. And for those who did go to St. Cuthberts - or Henshaws back then, Mr. Skillin is still there but away from P.E, he is head of a 'behavioural unit' - not sure he'd get away with planting stones into peoples heads with hockey sticks anymore, thank God
