    Some of the criticism of smith in this thread is totally unjust. If we play to his potential strengths he will be a valuable asset. Give him a string of games. Time for Dickov to show faith in him like he has done with Kuqi.

    Well it's all about converting chances. I don't think even the most hardened chesterfield fan would disagree that we controlled both games. I don't disagree we are our own worst enemies.

    Totally agree you could argue that he has cost us a place at wembley he has missed that many chances. Simpson carried us tonight and was immense. Even with kuqi's sitters the main problem still lies with delivery into the box. Taylor the main culprit closely followed by lee and black. Morais going off was a blow as he was also quality tonight. Hopefully he will make that slot in the team his.

    We really miss someone who picks up the ball of the back 4 and get attacks going. Adeyemi doesn't want that responsibility and wes doesnt seem to do it much either. Furman even when playing poorly gives us this option. His passing does leave a lot to be desire though. Simple passes often go behind the man. Still he is the man we new back the most!

    What is people's beef with mantom? He played about 3 games, I went to Bristol rovers away and he stood out as probably out best player, he was poor in the first half at mk but so was everyone. We've had far worse!

    Ieft satisfied for some strange reason. We have enough to control games but not enough to score. Something wee man needs to address. We could see a repeat of last seasons goal drought if he doesn't. And you are right about Luca I've seen enough.

    I would say 5000 at BP if you guys bring a 1000. I might even be optimistic with 5k seen as its on sky. The oldham public don't need a big excuse not to go, with itbeing on sky that should seal a place in the pub for most.

    His pace more than makes up for his lack of positioning.

    Parker was excellent last night. Put a couple of quality balls in and constantly made a run past Taylor but didn't receive the ball. His pace is vital to the team. Give him a run.

    Agree with both points. Kuqi just needs one to Go in off his arse. Morais was also superb. He ran the length of the pitch to track back and help lee out. Definate starter for me on Saturday!

    How are peope questioning shefki today?? He was outstanding. Completely isolated but ran his socks off. Any good play came from his link up play. Him and robbie up front will see a return too form.

    He was applauding his own fans above us. There main stand gave us a few claps. All in all an atmosphere I couldn't wait to hear was border line pathetic from them very little passion.
