    40 years ago playing in the west lancashire league for Norcross against Kirkham and Wesham which is what Fylde were we won 2-0 if you'd said 40 years later they would beat Latics home and away I would have sent for the men in white coats ffs

    Talking of Steve Thompson, bumped in to him at the blackpool hospital blood clinic,very friendly and approachable, said he and redfearn were gutted they didn't get the job as were the players apparently, he was very unhappy with the interview and the questions almost being set up to fail and Mellon was announced the next day so seems like it was a done deal regardless of the interview

    most embarrassing result , i remember going to south shields away in the fa cup 1969 after away 0-0 draw lost 1-2 at home in replay , latics first ever loss to a non league club , that was embarrassing , went to both games !!

    as an oldham fan for 60 years i sometimes despair of our fans , given our injuries who else could have played in midfield and 10 points from 4 games what more do you want ffs , and yes wealdstone had 4 loans so hardly part time , so ok not the best football at times but come on a local guy managing with murray and redfern assisting what more do you want , have you got short term memory loss from 2 years ago , get a grip

    it excludes any game being shown live by BT sports so with two in the first month thats an extra £30 monthly pass and if we are going well there may be a few more tv games Still intend to get me and my daughter to a few games

    Tried Australia and Spain, both show saturdays matches on the schedule ( but cant pay yet) Still saying no packages available for both countries

    Last season i could get Oldhams saturday games on NLTV using an Australian VPN , and eventually bought a half season subscription, no problem At the moment using the same VPN i cant see any available packages on the NLTV site . Has anyone using the same method managed to see next saturdays game as available to buy or indeed any season package Thanks

    Went on youtube and up popped 'recommended for you was a Oooh Roger Palmer collection for over 40 minutes , interviews about him with Joe ,Andy Ritchie earl barrett, excellent watch and brought back many happy memories , what a team that 89-90 lot .Stilll cant believe that Sutton save at Wembley !!
