Got to say I said on here that I was worried about the upcoming season with the signings we had made. Last season we had a lack of width and lack of goals. Especially lack of goals. JCH & Philliskirk not enough to get us up the league & the signings of Gros & Morgan - Smith don't give the sense that they can either. As well as that the midfield is a downgrade from last season & wingers situation not addressed. The squad aside, if LJ could get them playing them maybe they could prove me wrong, but how we played together was pathetic, when the manager was brought it was said that we would have a passing style, I didn't see that. I saw same old Latics, occassional good patches of attacking play but majority hoofing it uo to the forward man, and with our foward men not looking like they can hold it up to save their lives is worrying. Im normally optimistic when it comes to Latics but got to say I'm worried about this year, poor squad & can't see where the points are gonna come from looking through the table. Think this might be the year if signings aren't made.

Get him signed up & in between the sticks as soon as possible.

Surprised that Lockwood is getting dropped in many peoples eyes in favour of Wilson & Kusunga, for me it should definitely be Lockwood & Wilson, looked so solid last season.But then if Llera signed it would have to be Llera & Wilson at the back,Wilson and Mills either side.

Fair enough, just personally feel like the midfield & attack was better at the start of last season and it took a couple of loans, especially Harkins to invigorate the squad and take us away from danger. Now the squad in my eyes, the defence is better but the midfield has slightly worsened and the attack especially and with LJ saying no more permanent signings im worried that we're lacking goals & couple that with the midfield, i feel we may be slightly in trouble. Put in this way i haven't been worried before a start of a season before, and with the squad with the way it is at the moment that worrying feeling has returned. We NEED someone like a Clarke etc to put the ball in the back of the net and also help the inexperienced lads in the squad. Just my opinion

I would love this to be played at the games for JCH, may just be me but I would like songs that are personal to the club to be played before games & ones that are linked to some of the players like this one. Songs like Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling that is played after we win a game need to be scrapped, so cringeworthy.

And what people are forgetting here is that although undisclosed fee does include the original up - front fee, it also involves the add - ons. Many "Undisclosed Fees" are deals that involve an up front - fee and then a number of add ons, there are many reasons to not disclose a fee to the public domain but one of the main reasons being the add-ons that were included, that's what i suspect has happened with the Tarkowski deal, an up-front fee then a number of adds-on for within the future.

Really is a shame that he can't get a proper run of games together, whenever he is fit and plays he does really well and gives 100% with his workrate for the team up front, just fear that injuries are properly catching up with him and will eventually take their toll for whether he gets a contract for next season, hope he overcomes it though because i reckon he is a good player.

Obviously can't really comment on whether we NEED him back with it only being off one game but i would say i'd like to have him back, with Kusunga injured i would play Tarkowski alongside either Wilson or Lockwood. Just because Tarkowski has bossed it so far this season and also it's not really like a loan signing in terms of him being new to the club, he will just slip straight back in.

I agree that its a decent signing but i have this inkling in my mind that he is the new player that the boo - boys will latch on to, "journeyman" or "carthorse" probably being used.
