Trotman WAS at the game last night. He turned up in a suit then got changed into a t-shirt and jeans just before kickoff. He made a comment whilst walking through the lounge to someone which was "Im not going yet, nothing has been finalised". Im sure he will reply to you Bob, but be honest, what do you think the chances are of him telling you the truth even if he was planning on doing this? It would cause widespread panic amongst the Latics faithful which would have a negative effect on the club. My guess is that you will get a reply along the lines of....... "These stories come up all the time and we are going to give our full backing to Oldham Athletic".

Just to set the record straight..... I was told it was Simon Corney and Simon Blitz who were interested in buying QPR. I asked about Danny Gazal and was told "he isnt interested, it is just the other two who want it".

I can see where people are coming from about them having to sell Oldham first, but they person i heard it from is a very very close friend of one of the guys who is interested in buying the club. So surely it would only take a long time to sell if they had to look for someone? This guy has got the money and wants it now, as does our long haired friend.

TBH the whole thing stinks. He was given the word of Shez and the 3 amigo's that he would be staying. He was given offers by a few other clubs but he turned them down as he wanted to stay with us. Then they told him yesterday that he was going. To say the guy is devestated is an understatement. I asked him what is he going to do now. He just said he's going back down to Norfolk for his phone to ring. I really feel sorry for the guy, you could never wish to meet a nicer bloke.
