    Thanks Chris.

£142.50 was raised for the Foundation through sign-ups for last season’s competition. It would be great to beat that this time around.

Chris, I don’t seem to have received anything from you. Let me know if I can do anything to help. Cheers.

Apologies, I thought I'd sent it but there's no record on my PayPal..I'm on it now!

Always find it laughable when a bunch of virgins from down south try and act like experts on Oldham after watching a few highlights on Channel 5.

    Chatted to him about this.

He made all predictions based on what is happening with the clubs in the league at the moment with the players they have at their disposal.

Given that things seem a bit messy off the pitch and we still have plenty of recruiting to do (notably, we don't have an out and out striker yet), 22nd isn't a bad prediction. Especially when you look at the likes of Stockport, Tranmere, Orient, Chesterfield etc. Of recent years.

I think we'll have some sort of stability off the pitch and I think we'll be fine in terms of recruitment. But on the face of things, it looks precarious.

I have seen other forums with dedicated headings for those no longer with us in their memory, on this occasion I personally think it would be totally fitting, obviously with the families consent.

Any tribute you see fit is fine by me. I think he'd like this one, but I wouldn't want to change it and upset other fans.

Such a sad loss. I had a massive amount of respect for him the way he dealt with his illness with such stoicism. Looking at my little boy as I write this and I cannot bear thinking about leaving him behind at any point of my life. When I think about it that way, I really consider how lucky I am. The sincerest of condolences to Dave's family. Sad, sad news.

He held out as long as he could , to look at myself and my brother.

He didn't want to leave us, but he left nothing unsaid and with wonderful memories.

That's all I could ask for and he gave his all to give it
