I’ve got huge respect for Gardner after these last few games. He’s always been the best midfielder at the club, but he’s single handily tried to drag us through these last few games since Chesterfield. Shame he’s the only source of creativity at the club.

Due to Unsworth we started with a 10 game handicap. Which meant we started the season with the terrible run of form which inevitably most teams get in this division at some point. We still have a very very slim chance of the playoffs, after going through a period of 2 wins in 20. Shows how shit you can be and still Make playoffs.

No shit. The last ten games has been an absolute stinker, but prior to that, we was top 3 in the form table. We have hit an absolute terrible patch at a terrible time, but let’s not forget what came before it. If we win 1 in 10 at the start of next season like our best mate Unsy, then something’s gone terribly wrong. If we start next season with squad that has no balance or clear plan, something has gone wrong. But I trust Mellon will not make the mistakes Unsy did.

I can’t be arsed going through the new manager cycle again. I trust Mellon will get it right. How anyone can truly judge him with the limited squad we have is beyond me. It’s hard, tiring and infuriating at times. But a bit of patience is required for Mellon to get us back on track.

This is why we need a DOF, someone who can oversee the football side of things. Whoever has been doing this previously? Assume it’s DR, needs to take a step back.

Hasn’t Mellon always consolidated when first coming in and then kicked on in his second season ? We are in a much better position this year than last going into the summer imo. We only need 5/6 creative players and this squad will be more than fine.

Remember the time in league 2 when we had 3 different penalty takers in as many games and they all missed ? Taking penalties is a skill and requires a sound mindset or luck. Norwood never looks like missing.

Dickinson managed 5. He can’t even get in the squad at Hartlepool. Sheron hasn’t scored a penalty so they all count ! Im sure he will be chuffed with players player award again for his running ability and commitment to clapping his hands and pointing.

Said it months ago, Norwood will leave and we will regret it. The opportunity to have the stand out striker in the league has passed us by. Like you say, he’s a poacher and he rarely gets a chance created for him. Hence the frustration.

His ability to tackle is irrelevant when it’s a result of correcting his own mistakes. Same goes for his running about and pressing. He will be replaced and fans will quickly see what I and others see. He’s an absolute liability. He can’t be trusted with the ball and kills any of our momentum. Cannot wait for the day he’s replaced.

They are all technically better than him by a mile. Gardner and Conlon played higher. McGahey is more trusted as the CDM. Lundstram is better than him.

Counts. I’ve watched him for two seasons be crap in our midfield. He’s rubbish and we could do so so much better.

He played one good ball Garner, can’t remember any other decent passes. Hes scored a few when he doesn’t need to think.

Play like we did today and the ball will be stopping in mud on that pitch.

Gardner, Lundy, Conlon and McGahey all better than Sheron. So he’s not the best of a bad bunch.

He’s crap honestly. Been on the bench last two games so hopefully he’s off soon. A 28year old lump of a centre back is showing him how to play holding midfield. I’d say he would be a good centre back / right back. But we tried that when he first joined and he was even worse.
