    Hope all the impatient pricks who ve already been getting on LJ s back are quietening down now , I knew this team had HUGE potential , needs time to learn, I remain totally convinced we ve got a gem of a manager . Well done boys , deal with Mansfield professionally , then another big draw in round 3 . . .

    Can't believe sacking him is even being mentioned , it's gonna take minimum 3 seasons to turn the club around , LJ s doing ok , it's his first season as a manager, we were never gonna take the league by storm ffs !!

    That's the point , people are so quick to label him as a donkey , he has pedigree at our level, but he's at a new club, new area etc, give him some time ffs

    Didn't go today but by all accounts a good performance. Will the knee jerk reaction lot just realise this will take time, LJ clearly knows his football , and has come unto a tough job . People seem surprised that wes can be quality at this level , he was magnificent at times in his first year, we need to stick by players rather than write them off after some bad form. Well done the boys!!

    Love the fact is going to be " watching LJ like a hawk on Saturday " Who the f*** are you to pass opinion, what are your professional football credentials . Football managers, and ex players will see much more than us fans , plus they know players temperaments , how they ve trained etc. LJ has been around professional lower league football all his life, you have not.

    Hallelujah ! What's LJ meant to do, pick the same 11 each week if we keep losing. Dickov did that, and it's not the right thing to do , there must be a fear factor of losing your place. Let LJ learn , we re highly unlikely to go down , he's trying to build a club, not just a team for 1 season

    It surprises me that we don't ever go 3 in the middle , call it 433, 451 whatever , 2 central midfielders in a straight 442 is dated . How about wes sitting , smith and dayton/mellor in front of him, with Sid n jch playing off Rooney .

    Exactly . It's easy to say stick with a partnership for 5 games if we are winning. LJ has backed Rooney who is proven at this level , but I'd rather he tried to change things when we lose , rather than do a dickov and pick the same players every week.

    I'd start monty, Dayton very lightweight, if monty and Sid are in the mood they ll cause all sorts of problems.

    Dont change a winning team . Baxter hasn't done enough to warrant walking back in , make him battle for a place like the rest of them.

    Agree with 55 , he seems to cause a lot of problems fitting him into a system, only wants the no 10 role , and quite often is ineffective . Rooney n cmac should be a decent pair , with 2 wingers and a solid 2 in centre mid . Won't be end of the world if he goes.

    Is Baxter worthy of his place ? I'm not sure, very much a luxury player, I wonder if a straight 442 with c mac and Rooney as a 2 should be tried . And Baxter certainly can't play in a 2 in centre mid , perhaps a couple of weeks on the bench may re focus him . .
