      Of all the types of people I hate it's pompous religious know-it-alls that get on my nerves the most. Not only do they want to dictate morality for others - they try to impose their views on everything onto others and never just accept alternate viewpoints. Find a bible-basher with left wing political tendencies and you've found an idiot.

    I remember turning up at the Grey Mare at the time of the OMBC protests in support of the BP redevelopment. A petition had been arranged and the idea was for people to collect signatures outside the ground. My son and I had got our clipboard and were outside having a drink when Mr Wilson marched out with mate in tow. For some reason he had hold of a clipboard and shoved it at me muttering something about "....petition :censored:". That lack of respect for others and the club has stayed with me, and I am reminded of it every time I read one of your "pity me" splutterings. I concur with BB80 and others - the post is spineless, posturing and full of your own self importance.

    yes - and at the time there were 2 camps - one who demanded blind and unceasing ambition and the other who saw the reality of the position. We are in a no win position - the club owns nothing, the council don't want to be involved, and the landowners now want their money back.

    Anyone in commercial property or work for an agent? We are looking for a modern / clean warehouse between 4000 - 7000 sq ft in the Oldham area. We've tried all the online websites etc etc but if anyone knows of anything suitable please drop me a PM. cheers

    not sure if the shop do these any more so anyone got one of those long jackets for sale like the groundstaff wear? No idea what you'd call it - but it looks kind of like a waterproof overcoat. with a latics badge of course. size large I guess or a medium if the fit is big.
