Just confirmed with Sheff Utd ticket office. South Yorkshire Police have told them they're not allowed to sell tickets to away fans on the day. Home fans can pay on the day. So it seems the police would prefer to have away fans mixed in with the home fans rather than safe and happy in our own section. Ridiculous. You would have though Sheffield police would have learnt a few things from Hillsborough - or maybe this is what they learnt...

I'm confused. Can away fans pay on the gate or not? That is, in the Latics bit. I do not want to sit with Sheffield fans...

Is that true about the council threatening to withdraw funding of the stand? Who gave them the right to do that then? Pisses me off when councillors think the borough's money is their own to dole out or withdraw according to their own personal morals.

Who's Barry? Seriously, after the amount of media hype and rubbish spouted yesterday by people who have nothing to do with the club, I'm developing a bit of a f*** you attitude now. We'll do what we want, when we want.

Why should they rush a decision just to keep the media hounds sat outside happy? It's clearly a difficult and delicate decision and shouldn't be rushed to keep the papers happy. Does it really make a difference if they decide at 5pm today or 10am tomorrow? Patience people! I actually admire Corney for staying calm and not being dictated to by the media.

Agree with sentiment here. Good fight, skill, pressing etc from the lads last night. Lee Johnson might finally be getting close to the kind of team he wants. Need to practice those crosses in training though as too many good positions given away with poor crosses over our strikers heads or sometimes straight out of play. Good effort and good game from both sides, spoilt only by the fussy and inconsistent ref.

Montano being wrong footed is the least of his problems now, although he still plays for us according to EA Sports. Rooney's hair is way too orange, but at least he stands out more than in real life.
