  2. Evening Latics fans. For those of you who neither frequent Twitter or Facebook, at the beginning on this season we launched The Boundary Park Alert System Podcast, hosted by me Matt Dean, with regular contributors and special guests too. The podcast is available weekly, from 7am every Monday and can be found in all your usual podcast locations; Spotify http://is.gd/mS09wv Apple http://is.gd/xbTgDQ Google http://is.gd/Bak46X YouTube http://is.gd/ge3YBo An Oldham Athletic fan produced podcast, that gives voice to the long suffering Latics faithful. 4. On Friday, I made an impassioned plea to fans, via video message, to join OASF and challenge it's board to start representing Oldham Athletic fans in an authentic manner, ahead of them freezing membership on Wednesday 30th June, prior to their AGM this summer. This week, we find out from Exeter City how effective and profitable a well run, fan owned trust and club can be followed by a frank conversation about the shortcomings of our own supporters trust and what we MUST do about it. It's time for the fans of Oldham Athletic to take back control of our trust and our football club. You can watch the video, read my blog piece on the issue and sign up as a member of OASF, by clicking here. 6. Matt & Ste are joined by Latics fan and co-host of the D3D4 Football Podcast, Chris Stringer to talk all things League One & Two. As Oldham go into their fourth season as a basement club, we discuss what is needed to triumph at this level, who are the teams to look out for next season and ask, have we really hit rock bottom yet?! 7. Keith Curle has penned a two year deal with The Latics but was it the club that offered, or does KC drive a hard bargain? PTB have created a petition asking AL to sell the club but will it have any effect? What is really going on with the north stand? All questions we'll be trying to answer this week! 9. Barry Owen has been Trust Oldham's Chair and rep on the board. He's been a director at Oldham Athletic until very recently and is someone who fans often have a very strong opinion on. This week, Matt & Andy spent three and a half hours chatting with Barry to get his views on the North Stand, the owners, CEO Karl Evans, the Lee Hughes and Ched Evans affairs and much, much more. We managed to get the episode down to just over two hours and discuss an involvement in Latics that spans 16 years. Is it over now? Here's what Barry has to say... 10. And so, the end is here but will AL and Mo be seeing the final curtain? As yet another disastrous season under the Lemsagams comes to end, we reflect on a season that can only end with one, simple message...sell the club! CONTAINS VERY STRONG LANGUAGE! 14. In the days before the internet, printed fanzines were the way that fans shared their independent views, jokes and stories with each other. 17. With this season all but dead for Latics, our attention is firmly on the future. There's little chance of success on the pitch until there is stability off it. This week, Matt, Andy & Will discuss the importance of the fans in building that future, turning to the chair of Bees United, the Brentford supporters trust, to learn what they did. Bees fans were instrumental in building a new stadium and helping their team from Division 4 to the verge of the Premiership. There are some links below that you might find useful after you have listened to this episode, which we hope will inspire you to want to do more for the future of your town and your club. 18. OUT NOW! Brought to the club twice by Shez, striker Craig Davies played for Oldham in 2007/08 & 2017/18. In this frank and open interview, he describes the feeling around the club as "day and night" in those two spells, before and after the take over. This is Craig's account of what happened in the season that finally saw Oldham relegated to the bottom tier. This episode contains strong language. 19. Paul Murray has been head of the youth academy at Oldham since the summer of 2019. He also has a distinguished playing career at the club, as well as having served as a coach and assistant manager. It's fair to say he knows the club inside out, so Matt caught up with him to learn more about how he's been able to shape the youth set up, what his main challenges are and what he'd like to see happen going forward. Following on from last week's interview with Ashley Brown from The FSA, the conversation turns to Andy's experience with Trust Oldham, their relationship with PTB and what the next step should be for them as an organisation. 21. Latics fixture away at Scunthorpe was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch but Matt had three eager Latics fans waiting to jump online and talk shop, so the podcast was never in any danger. In addition to the general discussion with fans Will G, Will H and Gareth, Matt is joined by the hosts of the other two Latics podcasts, Walking Down Sheepfoot Lane and The Chaddy Enders. So no match, but still loads to talk about in Latics world. Join in the conversation by emailing your messages, questions, rants and voice messages to bpalertsystem@gmail.com. 22. Off the back of a late winner against Richie Wellens' Salford City, Matt chats with Daily Mail Journalist and Oldham fan Mike Keegan. The win couldn't distract Mike from the bigger issues that he feels are leading the club in the wrong direction and he pulls few punches in this honest assessment of the club now, in the past and where it could be heading in future.
