Who do you think it was then? Kelly? Day? Rachubka? Goram!? Yikes remember Cardiff at home! That was the hardest days graft Goram had done for ages...

Or is is simply Big Les!

(Not included A.Legzdins, not really enough exposure to get an opinion)

Gerrard moved on in '96, but surely he wouldn't have been a contender anyway? I've gotta be honest and say I never rated him at all (remember that terrible display of gifted goals down at White Hart Lane?) he's the worst kicker I have seen at BP in my 36 years of watching.

Could knock his ale back though - all credit to him there!!

Kelly was a bargain at 10k. Good bit of business from Sharp there. Well he had to get one signing right!

Goram coming back was desperate times call for desperate measures. Sadly he played terribly and we conceded seven! Still kept a clean sheet at Huddersfield though!

Pogs for me OK his kicking wasnt up to much but if you look at him now, he looks more of a keeper than 3 years ago!

Grant is second, he was a great signing shame we couldnt keep him!

I missed a lot of games at the back end of 99/00/01 due to work, so i missed a few!
