Bring Back Ronnie Moore
I wouldn't trust GMR. They've probably just seen what was posted around this morning.
Stitch_KTF
great bit of business that if so... especially if he was at the end of his contract.. all we need now is richards to go to chelsea for 40 million and we're laughing!! If we got a £10M windfall id be GUTTED we had just sold Trotters. Edited January 29, 2008 by Stitch_KTF
Senor_Coconut
Yeah GMR are just rehashing the story in the Chron imo.
Macca
It can't possibly be £750k! Great bit of business if true. Far more than I thought we'd get for him, shame he can't stay here but that would certainly lessen the blow.
JohnnyPimp
Trotman was at BP tonight in his Latics tracksuit. What does this mean 'coz I don't know!
tactically_naive
It means we didn't play him to avoid an injury so we can sell him to Nobend/Plymouth/anyone with a cheque book.
Bring Back Ronnie Moore
He's only one card away from suspension so that's probably why he didn't play.
dfOAFC
If we got a £10M windfall id be GUTTED we had just sold Trotters. i'm sure his replacement(s) would get you over it pretty quickly

Bring Back Ronnie Moore
i don't think that would make or break any deal somehow His new club won't want him suspended as soon as they sign him will they? If they are buying him it's probably their wishes that he didn't play tonight.

If they are buying him it's probably their wishes that he didn't play tonight. Well if they're willing to pay 6 figures for him then I'm sure a one game suspension wouldn't matter too much. And anyway, it's likely he'll pick up the booking in the next few games so may as well get the ban out of the way! If he was at BP then it means the rumours saying he was at Deepdale signing during their victory against WBA are false...

Senor_Coconut
I'm sure it will all come out in the wash tomorrow, but I believe things haven't gone to plan at the Preston.
happyterryb
He was sat behind us in Main stand tonight not looking to happy to be honest. Had his Tics top on like someone else has said. Going to Preston price unknown.
astottie
If we get more than £350k + add ons for him I will show my arse on the town hall steps.* PNE sound favourite to me which is why we have got JJ with them paying some of his wage * I would just like to point out that anything posted on this site is not legally binding
Forte_Baby
Was told before kick off he had left and we where to sign a striker tommorow.

edhunteruk
Good one. for a player who has only played 20 games, cost us next to nowt and can leave for free at end of season its good buisness. prolly be 450k up front with the rest after appearances and clauses added on. i also heard we were looking at dickov
warnesrightboot
Trotman WAS at the game last night. He turned up in a suit then got changed into a t-shirt and jeans just before kickoff. He made a comment whilst walking through the lounge to someone which was "Im not going yet, nothing has been finalised". But as he walked into the tunnel he was met by annother player who said "I cant beleive there letting you go for such a small amount, they could get well more money for you". P.S. He was in PRESTON all yesterday having a medical.
Bring Back Ronnie Moore
Trotters wants to stay? If so then we must keep him.
