Crusoe
Confirmed on Hull City site. "Livermore Joins Oldham Posted on: Thu 31 Jan 2008 David Livermore has joined League One side Oldham Athletic on an initial one-month loan deal. Livermore, who has regularly featured in the City side this season, heads to Boundary Park in search of more regular first team football." Decent signing. Davros
Hull City good player... now we can try taylor on the right and put davies just behind hughesy upfron... injuries permitting... would be nice for a striker to put the cherry on top
Senor_Coconut
Wouldn't describe him as a left winger, always been a defender/defensive midfielder.
Crusoe
He's the one who joined Leeds for £400,000 then got sold immediately to Hull. Has a reasonable reputation, I think. A workmate is a Hull supporter, I'll ask him tomorrow. Edited January 31, 2008 by Crusoe

Senor_Coconut
Donny have signed Stephen Elliot from Wolves as well (who I believe we were in for).

Butter
Donny have signed Stephen Elliot from Wolves as well (who I believe we were in for). Good signing for them. Livermore is decent for us too. I feel our midfield is more or less sorted now, just need a bloody striker!
lookers87
He used to play centre back at Millwall, pushed into a def mid position and occassionally leftback. Bizarre transfer to Hull via Leeds, but was very highly rated at the time. Can't help thinking he's very similar to what we have already in terms of allott, jj, kalala. Perhaps a change to 4-3-3 might be in the offing??
BigfinLatic
I'm just glad we have a left footer at latics - fantastic news... and has a good reputation, both him and jarrett have come to play football... that will do for me... Left footer though... do you think people will point and marvel when he walks into the dressing room... like people from saddleworth do when the see cars??? Is her any good? Creative? err... somethin we should know about this fella??
Crusoe
I reckon we'll see a midfield of Allott, McDonald, Jarrett and Livermore, with Smalley alongside Davies and Alessandra on the bench (unless we sign a striker in the next couple of hours). Simpo
I'm glad we have someone who can play centre back, if anything had happened to Stam or Hazell we'd have been in trouble!

Senor_Coconut
Although not the barnstorming winger I was hoping for, I think it's a good bit of business.
