laticsmad
Question. Answer....Frozen pitch...sorry found out. Doncaster Rovers' League One encounter against Leeds United has been postponed. Temperatures of up to -5 degrees has left the Keepmoat Stadium's pitch completely frozen and in an unsuitable condition to have a match played upon it. Referee Andre Mariner inspected the pitch at 9:15am and almost immediately stated that the game would have to be called off.

Guest oa_exile
Nice ground, kerapp pitch. All that money spent and no undersoil heating - doh! KOTK It's nuts really , they have now probably missed out on a bumper crowd and more importantly bumper pay day! Mid week games always loses fans , through work commitments etc

Rocky_Latic
The thick Yorkshire Tard of a groundsman forgot to put the covers on. What a tinpot club ahead of their biggest game in decades. It's nuts really , they have now probably missed out on a bumper crowd and more importantly bumper pay day! Mid week games always loses fans , through work commitments etc it's all ticket and sold out exile. Given how many Leeds fans are in Donny, you'd guess they'll outnumber the home fans. Same goes for the rearranged game. I doubt they'll lose alot of money on it. Just makes them look the tinpot club they are Edited February 16, 2008 by Rocky_Latic
0afc68
its an all ticket sell out, so wont matter when its played, shame though, youd be gutted if it was our biggest game of the season called off for the sake of a few frost covers, well dond BP groundstaff, always thinking. Guest oa_exile
Just realised the capacity is only around 15,000 so that makes sense why it would be all ticket.....well apart from controlling the Leeds numpties.

Yeah! Idiots... who builds a new ground with only a 15k capacity.... no ambition whatsoever....! 16,500 - now you are talking
JohnnyPimp
Does anybody know if Donny had selection problems today? Not that I'm suggesting the covers may have been left off for a reason.

Yeah, i'm sure they have massive problems selecting from thier 57 first team players.... Donny V Leeds - more players in those squads than the whole of the rest of the division put together.... kellys_discopants
Being an early kick off it wasnt going to help, if it was a three o clocker then it may well have been on.
