johnny punkster
maybe due to the crowd we took last season... brighton panicing/hoping maybe?
LaticNik
maybe due to the crowd we took last season... brighton panicing/hoping maybe? Think it's more to do with the fact that it's anything but a football ground and it can't cope with pay on the day admission. Markoasis
All to do with parking restrictions and stuff.... some roads in the area are even blocked of for people simply walking to the ground and everyone thought we had it bad. Your ticket includes return bus tickets into town or park and ride, by making it all ticket it makes sure that everyone follows the proceedures they have to have in place to get to the ground. The council monitors the way people travel to the ground and if they are found to have not followed the councils instructions the club get fined. Always advance tickets for home/away fans because of above

The council monitors the way people travel to the ground and if they are found to have not followed the councils instructions the club get fined. Always advance tickets for home/away fans because of above That's exactly why it's all-ticket. It's fine if you're staying down there. You can spend time in Brighton before the game and travel in by train or bus. Then you have to follow the designated route to the athletics stadium which pretends to be a football ground. If you drive and get there early enough to spend a few hours socialising before the game, you'll find that the park and ride area doesn't open before 12.30pm. By the time it is open and you've travelled to the stadium by bus, there is insufficient time to go anywhere apart from the Sportsman pub behind the North Stand at the stadium. After the game you have to walk down to the main road and queue until the bus takes you back to the car park. It's a more inconvenient system than the one at Swansea. This time, as Mrs. S. and I are not staying over, we can't be arsed to go through all that, so we're missing the game. http://www.seagulls.premiumtv.co.uk/page/W...,,10433,00.html

philliggi
one of the best away trips last year, but not cos of the football, i didnt see any we were that far away from the pitch. but the weather and it being the last away day of the proper season made it all worthwhile. cant see it being half as good this year
Bring Back Ronnie Moore
I reckon we need to turn this game into a cup final to win. Just like last season where anything less would have let Swansea slip into sixth.
Lisa
they had announcements for it on sat'day at the yeovil game! The Boundary blues trip has been cancelled because of lack of interest - shame really! Last season it booked up really quickly and we had loads of people ask if we were doing the trip again this year. We have made announcements for the last few home games but at the end of Saturdays game, only 10 people were booked on it and 3 of those were Boundary Blues staff. We cannot afford to run the trips at a massive loss as each trip has to pay for itself. We were only charging £25 for members and parents, which was coach ticket and match ticket. You go straight to the ground, no messing with the park and ride etc. Unfortunately, it seems people just weren't interested!

Frankly Mr Shankly
It's quite amusing Brighton's ground. When you're there, and inside it feels like you're at an England qualifying match abroad somewhere in the Eastern Bloc. That pub outside the ground was a fine post match establishment. Guest sheridans_world
The only suprise is that she didn't delegate the travel arrangements to me. What, so we would miss the train then get a taxi to try and catch up with it. Realise that its a futile attempt and get on the next train so we can get fined ££££'s for not having the correct ticket? Sounds like you know what you are doing. How can i get to Port Vale?
