BigfinLatic
Lee 'haven't played a game all season' Trundle, and Jack 'was bobbins in League 1' Lester in the top 50... yeah right... beckford is a good player... but to be honest, just seems like Craig Davies with a little more accuracy... pretty sure a ceertain number 9 would be in there if it wasnt for injury... and will be next year! Senor_Coconut
Everyone knows Lee Hughes is the best striker in league 1 . List is rubbish this year, I mean are those West Brom players REALLY all in the top 50 best players?
RoytonBlueLad
17 players from just four clubs there (Wolves, West Brom, Watford, Charlton). Seems a bit meh. And Leeds keeper? All those West Brom players as Coco says yet no sign of Bednar who has been brilliant for them. Probably too late for the vote to be fair though as he was injured for a while. oafcmetty
46. Casper Ankergren, Leeds Jesus wept.
ghostofcecere
46. Casper Ankergren, Leeds Jesus wept. To be fair he was good at BP (although he was awful at Elland Road).

oafcmetty
To be fair he was good at BP (although he was awful at Elland Road). Don't remember us giving him much to do really. Have drank a lot between then and now though, so may be my memory failing me...
RoytonBlueLad
Good to see an ex Latic at number 2 though. I reckon the loan spell here was the making of him
Senor_Coconut
3 former latics in the list.
OldhamSheridan
Don't remember us giving him much to do really. Have drank a lot between then and now though, so may be my memory failing me... He was blatantly obviously injured in the game at Leeds though with either his groin or hamstring playing up. Looked a pretty decent commanding keeper at BP to me. As for Bednar, is this a list of permanent players (i.e are Scottish Premier players removed)?
leeslover
A lot of the Wurzils wanted rid of Basso during their promotion season, too eccentric and a liability apparently.

RoytonBlueLad
As for Bednar, is this a list of permanent players (i.e are Scottish Premier players removed)? That seems to be it, yes. Frazer Campbell would be in ahead of Derek Holmes otherwise too.
boundaryblue80
Sorry but can't agree with the slating of Ankergren...If it wasn't for him we would've had a justified 6-1 drubbing of the White:censored:e on New Years Day...indeed, I felt sorry for Davies as Ankergren kept the lads then-goaldrought going. And not much he could do for the goals. Hazell screamer, shocking defending at Trotmans headed corner and an own goal. Ok, maybe the 3rd one, he may have done better. Overall though, he kept the score down and seems a decent keeper (let's not forget how Leeds have been battered and won games still this season, usually with a scrawpy late goal....must be a lot down to him keeping the goals out.) oafcprozac
So you have put Mark Allott higher than a player who is clearly a class above ;) Yeah cos Soccer Am said so didn't they? ;-) He played against us numerous times and was anonymous every time. Thats why he doesn't catch at Brizzle. The guy's been found out. Great in Division 4, a few good games in division 3 and can't cut in Division 2. Give me consistency over a fat feckin scouse prima donna any time.
