garcon
Predictably, I agree with your first point and disagree with your second.
LaticsPete
To speculate to accumulate is not something that rings true to Mr Corney. IMO But if that is true then the logic of your argument means that he has not bought into the club with a view to making a profit from it....... edhunteruk
But if that is true then the logic of your argument means that he has not bought into the club with a view to making a profit from it....... initially there will be no profit. the redevelopment is supposed to pay for itself, with the homes being or more importantly the land being sold to cover the cost of rebuilding, however there is at moment a housing slump, and house and land prices have now fallen considerably, thus making any small gain impossible......however once the stadium is fully redeveloped, and it is a huge sucess and making money hand over fist and financing the football side of things,it wouldnt be out of the realms of possibility to then sell the club and the whole shibang for quite a handsome profit, but your looking at around 6 years or more to do so........ the trouble is that if you kept the same season ticket prices as this season, how many will not renew....and how many pay on the day will give it a miss.....
