scotty doesn't know Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 apparently ronnie moore wanted to discontinue our youth teams when he was manager.. sums the guy up really... he strikes me as the kind of guy who thinks england's problem is too many players of other nationalities in the premier league.. when really its the standard of coaching and facilities for youth players... if english football mirrored the ways of nations such as france (just for example) then our players would be good enough to play in the premier league and it may not be neccesary to scout from other countries Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As disappointing as he was with us, he made his name as a manager achieving wonders at Rotherham with a shoestring so narrow Iain Davros would see it as a thread.
