What are you listening to at this moment?

Pfft, yous and your secret abilities on embedding YouTube videos.

I'm listening to Secret Shine, a band on 80's/90's twee indie label Sarah Records. Given that shoegaze is all a la mode amongst the young scenesters, it sounds very nice yet not jumped on all over by Glasvegas-humping trendsetters and very unlikely to be.

2008 Remix? No mate, I have my original 12" Chicago mixes from my Deejaying days. I think a 2008 remix of it might just spoil the memory.

Thanks for pointing it out though.

If you come across CD volumes 2 & 3 of 'A Perfumed Garden' (Various artist 60's Psychedelia) at a decent price let me know. Or even the boxed set of 3 - My volume one is getting battered now.

I am currently listening to a compilation of Quebec Girl Groups of the 1960s. To be honest it's not very good, just French versions of UK hits and Motown.

French language records don't tend to do a lot for me, although I do like Jacqueline Taieb's '07:00am' (Sept heures du matin):

Dodgy video, great song

Oh that's genius that one. Acually, Serge Gainsburg did a load of good :censored: with Brigette Bardot especially his Initials B.B. album. And I have a fantastic compilation called "So Young But So Cold" which is a brilliant mixture of french electro and new wave from the late 70's. Most of it sounds well fresh, as if it was made recently.

I much prefer the unremixed version.

Its growing on me... but tbh, feels a bit lazy from the mighty BP, and after 2 minutes or so doesnt really do much... the remix pumps it up a little...

Still really like the track, but like the remix more :)
