frankbunnschin Posted July 4, 2008 Share Posted July 4, 2008 i have been to the club shop this morning and placed a book of condolence for ernie. i think it would be a really nice way to show louise and eventually ernie's child how warmly he was thought of at OAFC. the book will be in place for a week from today, then i will take it down to ernie's family. some really nice messages have already been left and i hope we can fill the book in due course. i am awaiting details of the funeral from ernie's family and will let everyone know when i have them. best wishes martin Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is a Rochdale one there too, nice touch I thought as he did obviously spend more time there but I think maybe we are seen as his footballing home. Wont be able to get back there now before next Sat due to working in Manchester, so wont be able to sign it.
