Had a couple of sniffs last season but like Eardley a couple of years back, could be ready for a starting place this time round. With regards to this young striker from United. Apparently he was really highly rated even by Man Utd's standards and there's no way they would have released him on ability but he's had a few problems off the field and Utd eventually lost patience. TP said it remains to be seen whether we can get him back on track but that his ability was worth a try and Utd told him that if we can he'll be in our 1st team by Christmas!
