Massive game away on Saturday now against fellow strugglers Cottbus.
OldhamSheridan
...and Unterhaching, the team from a large City with two large clubs (one massive, the other underperforming for years) who previously were in the top division but have fallen to the third tier seem to have settled for mid-table after a series of poor results. Boo. But that's not familiar at all.

GuyGermanLatic
any 1. FC Saarbrücken fans here? Eintracht Frankfurt 1 - 2 Bayern München Disappointing game at the Commerzbank. Klose and Ribery netting against Die Alders, Demichelis knocking one in for us though! Everytime Bayern and Eintracht play, We always score first. Like last season, the 3-1 defeat. Frankfurt netted first. Schweinsteiger seems on form, despite not scoring and getting a yellow card. Unfortunately, Patrick Ochs joined him with the yellow cards. Podolski, of all people, didn't start and came in the 80th minute! Also, glad to see Nikolov on. Fantastic stopper in my opinion.

Eintrachts beat Bourousia Monchengladbach 2-1 at weekend, now for Sunday where all being well I'll be in the Commerzbank Arena cheering them on against Stuttgart, watching SV Wehen Wisebaden on Friday evening play Kaiserslauten a bit like watching Doncaster play Sheffield United only in Germany fans are allowed to enjoy themselves
Guest oa_exile
YEAR OVER FOR AMANATIDIS Eintracht Frankfurt's recent Bundesliga revival has been tarnished by an injury to Ioannis Amanatidis which will sideline the Greece striker for up to three months. The 26-year-old underwent a routine operation on a knee injury recently, but during surgery it was discovered that the diagnosed meniscus damage was the least of his problems. Amanatidis had also damaged a cartilage and as a result will be out of action until the early part of next year. "A comeback before the end of February is unthinkable," said his agent Dirk Lips to Kicker magazine. Frankfurt coach Friedhelm Funkel, who has seen his side win three of their past four league games, is already without defender Chris for the next six weeks after he had an operation on his shoulder. Eintracht currently sit four points above the relegation places in 12th.

GuyGermanLatic
I believe they imigrated to the USofA, Seattle infact, and opened a coffee shop. They got relegated but are 1/2 two leagues under 2.Bundesliga, and are 1st place (promotion spot... only 1 spot for promotion in their league). Last game I saw was when they played FC Koln. Podolski was in strike for Koln. We (Saarbruecken, my main german team ... sorry frankfurt!) lost 4-1.

Tommy_Fent
Drew 2:2 at home yesterday V's VfB Stuttgart after being 2:0 up crowd was 51,000 ! 12th now slowly moving up Eintracht Frankfurt P12 W3 D4 L5 F15 A19 Pts13 Borussia Dortmund v Eintracht Frankfurt I was in attendance for that game, it was one of those games despite Eintracht being 2-0 up and taking their chances there was a quality about VfB that suggested the game wasnt over. The goal was controversal but it was a goal, then the ref dissalowed it, then the linesman gave it. Loved the beer and the food they had over there, and the atmosphere was something else
OldhamSheridan
They seem to have contrived a division Unterhaching now have little to no chance of getting out of at the moment. Eight points off the playoff place and nine of relegation - and this after just fourteen games. Wow, it's going to be exciting in that small part of Munich this season. OldhamSheridan
Haching continue their assault on the top of Division three. Now a mere nine points of the playoff place (once games in hand are won by others - otherwise it's eight). Huge game tonight in Division 1, as top of the table loaded upstarts Hoffenheim travel to second placed Bryan's Munchies. Kick off half seven on Satanta.
