Stevie_J
"...more than happy to sign on to my current deal," The biggest surprise there is that the beeb managed to find a picture of him heading the ball.

RoytonBlueLad
11 GOALS !!!!!! Jesus, how the feck did he manage that? He didn't. Soccerbase has him down as scoring 7. Two doubles in that amount and his last goal being at the end of January. Be interesting to see how he does now at Championship level. RoytonBlueLad
He's got what he always moaned about. He's no place to hide, let's see how he does. I think the need to be the big fish in the small pond was always something he wanted. Thing is he wanted it at Championship level. Was never going to happen with the potential move to Wolves last summer. Worked out well with Donny though. Gone up in his first season, new deal and now he is the big fish with a Championship side. Dare I say he might be feeling slightly pleased with himself right now? Edited July 25, 2008 by RoytonBlueLad
andy_b_100
I seriously doubt we have a need for him now with Gerrard Junior and Maher, whittaker Allott. I always thought he was a guy who dissapeared when we were more than 1 down or just fouled people. True enough he had a great pass and could link play very well. Add him to our squad now... would he be the first midfielder on the team sheet?

Dare I say he might be feeling slightly pleased with himself right now? He didn't look like the big fish last time I saw him play. He seemed to be a specialist throw-in taker and certainly wasn't the focal point of their play as he needs to be for his game to shine. I don't think he's good enough to dominate a team who are a bit better than we were when he was with us. Good player and I've no issues with him, but his game has it's limits.
