cheshireblue
Worth purchasing from Amazon or not ? Also when is the new Garth Dykes book out ? My thanks. I've not bought it but have seen it. "Legends" is perhaps stretching it a bit as virtually anybody who has played for us in the last few years is featured. The book consists of a photograph of the player on one page with a narrative on the other page. Won't tell you anything you didn't already know. The MEN have done similar books for other Greater Manchester Clubs. Personally I wouldn't buy.

SAV
Worth purchasing from Amazon or not ? Also when is the new Garth Dykes book out ? My thanks. My mother-in-law was going to get it me. When she went to the MEN office the woman behind the counter said, "Don't bother it's rubbish"
oafcprozac
My mother-in-law was going to get it me. When she went to the MEN office the woman behind the counter said, "Don't bother it's rubbish" Wife and kids bought it for me for Fathers' Day, not brilliant tbh, took all of about 7 minutes to read, not a patch on any of Beckett or Dykes' books. Definitely overpriced imo. Having said that I paid 40 dabs for Jarvis' '100 years, 100 images, so what do I know? I got it for my birthday -totally agree with above - would have felt a bit cheated if i had bought it myself. Pricey for whats in it.
