BP1960
I noticed Cheltenham scored 2 goals yesterday from crosses to unmarked men on the back post. Latics have been quite vulnerable in the past to this kind of ploy, and it is to be hoped they are vigilant against them on Saturday. fleetwood Blue
Let them score at the back post, we will score more though. (Joe Royle era)

jsslatic
In all honesty, this is a game that will test, to an extent, if some of the problems from last year are gone. We need to show consistency...beating Leeds is one thing but promotion is won mainly by beating the average teams in the division and battling through the 'routine' home games, which we really struggled with last year. Cheltenham shouldn't be underestimated...in Myrie-Williams and Hayles they've got players who can really cause us problems and we'll need to make sure we're still on our game and there's not a case of 'After The Lord Mayor's Show'. Completely agree. We have often beaten a top side and then get beat the next. Beating Cheltenham is as important as beating leeds - 3 points. If we beat the bottom 4 home and away thats 24 points. Thats approx 1/3 of what you need to get into the play offs. And Hayles is a class player. Cannot be underestimated. Over confidence will be punished. andy_b_100
Also we have struggled for season after season with teams who adopt the 'direct' approach. We seem to revert to thier tatics and hoof it. We cant do this as teams like Cheltenham play like this week in and week out. We stick to our guns and play football we will win.
