He didnt warm up at half time on the pitch with the other subs (Smalley, Lomax, lewis, Ales, Stephens, Fleming??) and he wasnt wearing kit - he had on a tacksuit, trainers and one of the big latics coats shez wears.... None of those warmed up either, they were too busy watching Chaddy the Owl. As for the Candlelight Rich, I'm afraid the 'Light' is being extinguished. It's being closed down apparently. oafc1955 Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 Its interesting that Maher is now being looked upon as inspiration/leadership to our apparently flagging midfield now were struggling a bit, whereas a couple of weeks ago we could of loaned him out to anyone and nobody would of batted an eye. To be fair he was short of fitness when he first came and because the team have been performing well and getting results he hasn't really had much of a chance. He has a good pedigree and is a very experienced captain. Shez pushed the boat out to sign him and he'll be on a fair salary. Hopefully, when he does get into the side he'll take some shifting!!! Provided the number of calories in is not greater than the number of calories out then they aren't going to put on weight. A burger is a good source of protein (its meat) and that's useful for building up muscles. Everyone needs some portion of fat in their diet. However, I do question the wisdom of eating a burger wearing an Oldham tracksuit, and being not very popular (especially Lee Hughes) at Stockport's ground. That burger could have been wiped round the rim of the nearest WC for all they know and could contain more bugs than a computer which has spent far too long on 'special' websites.
