drw1909 Posted December 16, 2008 Share Posted December 16, 2008 Reading this month's Uncut I was suprised to find out that Mitch Mitchell the drummer with the Jimi Hendrix Experience passed away in Portland Oregon on 12th November. The JHE was my first gig in 1967 at the Palace Manchester along with Pink Floyd, The Move, The Amen Corner, The Nice and others all on the same bill.(for you young ones these were called package tours) Anyway is the Experience the only 60's band whose members have all passed away?
