Diego_Sideburns
The weather forecast says light rain and a temperature soaring to 11 degrees on Saturday. That's almost tropical! So no need for the thermal underwear and no excuse for those who are easily put off by the cold. 'ISZ' my ase!
opinions4u
Still time to flog the idea at work tomorrow to those who can make a phone call or get down to the ticket office. For those who don't buy in advance, it's still only a tenner to escape last minute Xmas shopping - so well worth the effort on the day too! Prendy_1984
im still expecting around 800 to decide to pay £10 on the day Perhaps its an idea to buy 800 now at half price and sell them for 8 quid on the day.

Although 9 degrees is not quite tropical. it's still balmy for the time of year. The rain will keep the dust down! It will only put off those seeking an excuse for not attending. Diego_Sideburns
BBC Weather centre : >>Pissing it down all day Saturday<< The Weather Channel : >> Pissing it down all day Saturday<< GMTV : >>Pissing it down all day Saturday<< Wheras the forecaster with local knowledge: The Advertiser forecast: Saturday Forecast: A shower Rain probability: 80% Temp High: 10°C / 50°F Temp Low: 4°C / 40°F Wind Strength: Moderate Breeze Wind Direction: West-South-West So 80% chance of a shower and 50°F - we could be sweating cobs with all the excitement! ste1987
Wheras the forecaster with local knowledge: 'Moderate Breeze' I don't think i've ever heard anyone describe the wind at Oldham using the work 'breeze'

The Chaplain
Trust me, the weather will be dry and mild - no excuse for not attending. Met Office jungle drums this morning say: Light rain, 9º C, wind 8mph southwesterlies, visibility poor. Perfick!
Yard Dog
Mild and dry but grey and cloudy in Middleton at the moment.
singe
This has given me a great idea. Perhaps the Chron, in a new media tie up, could provide a weather forecast every Friday and night match days. Nice little graphic. IT just has to say Boundary Park Weather for next match: Forecast: A a great game in balmy sunshine. Being you're sunglasses and sun cream Rain probability: 0% Temp High: 25°C Temp Low: 24°C Wind Strength: Very light Breeze Wind Direction: South-West-Noth-East, sometimes not at the same time. Just use the same forecast all season!!
Bertie_Dugger
It only needs a live-webcam feed from Alan Hardy's office.

footy68
Current BP weather - light drizzle (in that Hovis type voice ala soccer am).
