Crewe Pubs

Recommended Posts

Being a 'part-time' supporter, I missed Crewe last season., but I’m told that Clancy’s Bar (Royal Hotel), where we usually go was closed down.

Anyway, I’ve made enquiries and what was Clancy’s has reopened and been renamed Bar Seven. The landlord says it will be reserved for Latics supporters from 11:00am on Boxing Day, and it shows Sky Sports.

P.S. Don’t forget Crewe is all-ticket for Latics supporters. Ticket office closes at 12noon on Christmas Eve.

Ive been told by a mate of mine to stay away from the Lion (i think), because its abit rough in there, just the message i was told ive never been in myself.

I`m driving down but will divert to whereever the majority are going.

Driving looks to be the way of the day unless it transpires that there are in fact trains running. Is there no service at all or just a reduced one? Crewe for me is on the same line from my house to the Airport so I'm hoping they're still running (as I think I read Airport services might still be running).

Had a look at the trains but i think they just aren`t running. Was going to get the coach, but well, rather drive tbh, not to far away and itll stop me having more than one to many christmas day!

It's full of drunks

we've had a good time.........we've had a good timeeeeeeeeeeeee

after ten pints......we've had a good time!

 I cant remember what pub we've been in at Crewe on the past few visits. I just know the bouncer couldnt stop laughing when he saw a dozen blokes dressed as women descending on his pub, closely followed by superheroes and alsorts.

Anyone know how many we've shifted for this?

I think there'll be some disappointed folk turning up on Boxing Day expecting to be able to pay on the day and then finding out it's all-ticket, even though we won't have sold out (which is disappointing in itself).
